Soo I was going to buy a super clean s10 today talked to the seller yesturday everything was set I went to two banks got the cash he knew I was going to be there at 5:30 he walks over to the truck takes the sign off and says a guy was just here and he bought it...he knew I was comming I left work early to get there and skipped lunch to hit the bank. When I was selling a mustangII I had the same thing happen I told the guy that stopped in he would have to wait. Oh and here's the kicker the guy didn't even pay him for it yet.

Might have dodged a bullet anyways. I knew some of those hilljacks. I used to work with one who's side business was taking S10s and dumping gear oil in the crankcase to cover the knocking rod bearing- poorly and quickly done swaps of rear ends, cabs, beds (who cares if you have all the hardware, or even the right grade) basically all kinds of low-down shit. Rear drums bad? Just back off the adjuster so they do nothing. He had no shame in it and laughed about the guys who bought them.

I remember buying a set of 01 Cobra seats off this very website. Asked the guy If I could pick them up in one day, and he said no problem. Called back to get the address and he sold them to another person. I said, WTF he said, tough shit. Yeah, fucking hillbillys.....

On more than one occasion I've had dealings on this board where I've called and set a time, Only to drive over an hour to have them not be there ...

So it's not Just Hillbillies ...
I'm a Born and Bred Hillbilly, And have NEVER done that to someone or promised someone something and sold it out from under them ...
