Like the title says. Anyone know of any place local that would carry 20 gage 2-3/4" home defense rounds in 0 or 00 buck shot?

Just looking for 10-20 rounds. Thanks.

I scatter of 20 guage, 00 buck in the face would probably make me leave, lol. No idea where to get any though.

Bird shot and a 12ga is where it's at for home defense. You don't want buck shot if you care what's on the other side of the walls in your home. Might as well be shooting round nosed 38's instead of buckshot, same type of performance through walls.

^^^ Thanks. Got #5 shot in it right now. Should suffice then. The gun is short, lightweight, has an adjustable rear stock, and pistol grip on it, and easy to maneuver inside our small home with narrow doorways. Hoping based on gage size I can get my wife to feel comfortable enough shooting it not to be afraid of it. A 12 gage would put her on her backside. I would have bought the 12 otherwise. Any confrontation with it would be well within 15 feet as small as the house is.

I have both a 12 and 20 gage for home defense. I use 4 or 6 shot in both. Either one should be sufficient to run anyone off that try's to enter.

Sounds like you setup would work just fine. Got a light on there? Guys scoff at birdshot, but that stuff will tear you up bad.

Anything short range is sufficient.

Never thought of that. Good thinking. I'll have to find something nice that can hold a small LED light. I'm sure the local safety supplier will have something since they supply such items to many local police in the tristate.

That's what I was always taught. :bigthumb

I am guessing a 20 gauge with #4 shot would ruin somebody's day, especially at close range.
