Just curious if anyone has used this oil. I've heard a lot about it in general, heard people swear by it, but never talked to anyone first hand who has used it. Anyone had any experience with it good or bad? Is this one of those oils that you have to continue using after you start due to the additives? They claim longer periods between oil changes but I see nothing on their website at a glance giving periodicity though the advertisements on TV boast it being a "once a year oil service" oil. Personally I can't imagine going more than 5k on it between changes, shy going 6k after changing filter every 3k at best.
HYPE? LEGIT? GIMMICK? Feel free to elaborate, or tell me its a waste of money.
Application - 302 Coyote running a 2.3L TVS Supercharger making 10psi boost. 568RWHP/522T No other engine mods other than accommodating tune.
Thanks.

For now I'll stick with the factory 5-w20 Motorcraft blend. If I go synthetic I will likely try the amsoil stuff. Thanks

Go ahead and PM me the information Tommy. I have no idea what it will run, but I think I need to go full synthetic in spite of what the Roush people say.

You could put the crappiest, cheapest oil you can possibly buy in your engine and the likelihood of an oiling related failure would still be about 0.01%.
I'd run 5W30 synthetic anything and don't sweat what brand it is. Except for RP. Screw that stuff LOL.

I agree. Any modern oil, particularly synthetic, will satisfy the lubrication requirements for the engine. Choosing the right viscosity is probably more important than the brand of oil.
