On the lower intake when you mount a supercharger do you have to get an adapter plate or will it bolt onto the lower intake? I will be getting a supercharger soon so I will be asking all kinds of questions in here.

I know nothing about the 4.6 stuff but I'd say you'll need a aluminum intake, the factory plastic junk wouldn't hold up

What type of supercharger are you talking about, a roots style would have a new lower manifold like a 03-04 cobra and a centrifugal blower will be mounted to the timing cover and have a inlet pipe running to throttle body

Factory plastic "junk" works fine with a centrifugal supercharger.

Sounds like you are talking about a roots type like an old 6-71? Do some reading online, you will see that there are no sc kits for a 4.6 that bolt to the intake.

Look at the tork tech kits. They seem to be fairly reasonable and make decent power. Comes with the new lower intake.

I was planning on putting a whipple 3.4 crusher on this beast. Of course I have to upgrade everything fuel, driveline, forge everything.

2v or 4v....that would be a good place to start. You won't find a whipple for a 2v unless it's in a lightning.

Yeah they seem reasonable. The TVS 2.3 would be bad ass!
