View Full Version : On being a man

My thought for the day...
On being a man. A man is only as good as his word, his word is what defines him as a man, a man of character. The grip a man has with a handshake is the strength of the agreement made by such handshake. When a man's word is no good, that man is no good, with no good intentions.... until society gets back to being a man of their word, and valuable handshake, chaos, unruleyness, cheating, lieing, and general tom-fuckery will ensue. Just my thought for the day. Oh and one more thing. ALL UP IN THAT ASS!
I agree. A man is only as good as his word. In my opinion, nothing worse than a liar and a thief!

Thanks rich.
I don't like a thief, liar, bully or thug. I believe in our judicial system with the exception of criminals having rights. I believe in protecting and standing up for people being bullied by someone bigger than them, I do believe in vigilanteism, there does come a time, (mess with family and see). And again, I believe a man's word is what defines him as a man, and my name isn't bill. It's jason. A man of my word.
I hope you all have a nice day.

I couldn't agree more Jason and Rich ...
Too many people who have No Spine or Conscious, And apparently Daddy never taught them the importance of being a man of their word ...
They feel it's easier to Lie, Steal and Cheat ...
It's a Fucking Shame and will lead to the eventual downfall of our society ...

Case in point ^^^
Here's the thing about a liar and a thief... they get the satisfaction of "the prize" initially. After a very short while, whatever it was that they lied about and stole, is gone. What do they have left...nothing. Their integrity is shot, nobody likes them, and every time they look into the mirror, they see a liar and thief looking back at them.

MOST, unfortunately, don't have a real problem with that because they truly have no conscience.

So I guess the guy who quoted me to do painting on my house 11 months ago and has still yet to show is no man? Works for me. I've been called a lot of things from dickhead to coward over the years for speaking my mind and standing my ground on things. Guess 8 years of FULL ACTIVE military service proves my cowardly side and lack of ability to fulfill a commitment ;). I can honestly say I have never been called a thief or accused of failing to honor a handshake agreement. I have failed to remember things from time to time like birthdays, taking out the garbage, meeting up with someone, etc. Goes with being human and getting older. But its never intentional.
Deceit is another trait I will add to this discussion. People who prey on others for personal gain using deceitful tactics, especially on the elderly. Plucking at people's heart strings for personal gain. Guess deceit is however a tool of your typical thief/cheat.
Bullies I will also agree with. I'm not talking about a few jabs on a website. I'm speaking of true bullying and belittling people to the point of humiliation. A guy yells at another over something and they exchange words is one thing. To belittle someone to the point of humiliation is intolerable.

8 years in the service. I would like to thank you for that. It's Because of brave men and women like you, giving the ultimate sacrifice, that allows me the freedom to speak what's on my mind. For that I personally Thank you ! I thank everyone who served.
