Thinking about upgrading the diff if I keep the green car much longer. Looking for something that is street friendly but works better than the classical limited slip. Considering the Eaton Torsion diff or the True Trac. Any preference for a mostly street driven car? Thanks.

I'd like to try a Moser Wavertrac but damn they're pricey.

I rebuilt my 31 spline trac-lok with extra clutches. Its went numerous 9 second passes and also a few 1.38-1.40 sixty foots.

hmmmm...your the second to tell me that. Def a way to save some cash. Thanks Chad. I'll pick up a carbon clutch rebuild kit x2 from FRPP and go that route. So add two extra and its good to go. Awesome.

I did the same thing Chad did with mine and put in the Ford Racing carbon clutch packs and I also checked into it and used a S spring out of an F 150 because it was different than what was in the Mustang 8.8. It was stiffer.

Really? First time I've heard that, are they different P/N's?

I had an Auburn in a Camaro a few years ago and it held up really well. However I was only pushing 328 rwtq. Now the Detroit locker in my truck has been holding 550 lb-ft but I wouldn't put one in a mustang where you may have to go around a corner in the rain.
I just went with a 31 spline FRPP diff with carbon clutches. Adam recommended them so that's what I bought.

You also remove one of the spacers to allow room for the extra clutch. Instead of 3 clutches and 4 spacers you have 4 clutches and 3 spacers.

On each side, I forgot to mention. So total of 8 clutches and 6 spacers.
