Anyone interested in planning a day to go to test and tune? Maybe we can get a bigger group. I work 2nd shift 12 hour days so I have to plan unfortunately. Maybe shake up the Dirty Dozen Challenge list up a bit. Fridays work better for me. Just seeing if there's any interest.

IMO the best way to do it is when Charlie/XOS does a T&T day ...
That way the Track is on KILL, And it would be easier to set up the races because there won't be 600 Yahoos there ...

There usually only around 30 or less cars there ...

I think those are done and when he does those, its $100 to race. Probably be better on a Saturday with xos and the bracket cars.

The last two test and tunes I've went to at E20 I was able to get 12 runs in. I could of ran 50 or more times. Prepped practice would definitely be better.

I think we used have cool shit like that twice a year. Spring and fall if I remember correct. Man that's been a while though!! I think the guy that put it on even had a nice plaque for the top gun and the winner of the quick 16. And for those slower guys, they got a sticker for being in the 16. Boy was those the days!

Edgewater used to go to Saturdays sometime in October. KK used to as well, but now they seem to just close, period. I'd say lets go to do edgewater, as you can get maybe 3 passes in max at kk on a good day.

Probably so... Sucks that one whiney little bitch ruins it for everyone. I always had a blast at them. Got to see some cool cars, make some passes and do some racing against others.

Sure did. Maximus would throw out an invite just to meet at Tristate on a TT Saturday and we would all cruise there from Hooters. There was the semi annual SCSO hosted by Cincy Speed as well. Shawn (with the Silver Pontiac GTP) also used to host a private race day fundraiser at E20 until the cost to do it got completely out of hand. Supposedly one of the board members here (LS1eater or something like that) tried to host a shoot out of some sort after the SCSO events concluded. Don't know what happened to that. I believe that one was held at KK if it ever occurred. In addition it seems that there was also a final showdown of the dirty dozen ET list held each fall also.

There have been a host of posts/invites to TT at E20 as well as KK this year. I'm always up for making a pass or two or at least bringing the vid cam to catch some action. 2nd shift sucks I know. Worked it for quite a while before finally getting to go on days. Missed a lot of fun because of it. Had to use personal time or vacation days to do it if I ever was able to show. Would be nice if Tristate was open again and had their Sat afternoon T/T's. May not be the choice track but at least it was not overly crowded and the time was accommodating for even an off shift worker.

Pick a date and set a time. Hopefully many will come. I'll make it as long as there is no conflict with vacation dates. I'll run anyone for fun or the list. I even have some Maguires Tire shine for anyone wanting to shine up the sidewalls of their drag slicks or DR's before we run just to be a nice guy. LOL!

You would think ONE rule would make it easy for everyone to come out and enjoy themselves. But there were a few people that would get all butt hurt when they didnt win or were plainly out ran. It gets old real quick to hear/read the comments from the un-grateful, especially when Im paying $$$ out of my pocket, just because their definition of a street car is different from everyone elses.
Tri-State looks to be closed down (lack of funds to repave the surface) and not re-open. Trying to run the SCS at E2O or KK would be impossible as they are not set up to, nor want to, during there normal T&T.

Maybe we can get Charlie to set something up at Kilkare for a street car shootout. I know he has a little bit of pull there.

Sucks about Tristate. Hope they can get it back up and running next year.

I am definitely in. I only got to attend 1 of the street shootouts before they ended. It was a lot of fun. I still proudly wear the sticker on my car.
