It's my best friends car I've been helping him tune it.its making great power but who would of thought we would have issues launching an awd vehicle.

People think Awd cars basically launch themselves, but my awd eclipse (when it was a manual) was lights years harder than launching my manual mustang!
We should be down with my sons Pinto.
Need to make a few passes to see if the new transmission and converter are working right before heading to Muncie or Kilkare tomorrow.

The car off the line went straight right and was over powering the track. On top of it I found another oil leak that isn't going to be any fun. Then on the way home the trailer blew a tire on I-275. I just felt like an absolute rookie! Lol

Car feels great, it just wasn't the night to make it happen I guess? I fortunately have some more time to get back out to the track.
The leak is where the timing cover meets the block at the oil pan Aaron.

You running the 1 piece oil pan gasket? Only one I use and Ive never had a leak.

It is the 1-piece, I just think that there may not have been enough silicone applied in the crease. I haven't had time to mess with it today so I'm going to go over everything tomorrow.

Smallest leak on a sbf can spew out so much oil while running . I had a 306 once that have me a run for my money.
