One of my favorite colors. Id say you'll be mid 10's with that setup.

Are you going to build the motor yourself ? If not who is doing the build ?
Go e85 and crank the boost up if it's not a dd.

Motor will be built by myself with the coaching of my father. He owns his own automobile repair shop. He worked for ford for about 10 years. He has built many mustangs. I am looking forward to learning how to wrench on these mod motors.

It's a great looking car! Your going to need much bigger injectors for E85.

I know I am going to need bigger injectors with the e85 route. The question is how big would I need to go?

E85 guys, would 60#'s be big enough for what I will be working with. Also what are some good fuel rails? E85>me.

Depending on power your looking to make. 80's will give you more room to grow. That's what I have now.

Copy that. What fuel rail setup do you have? I will not be making anything close to your car. I guess it is better to go bigger and grow into them then going small and going boom.

Im not sure what rails I have. I think Fore. Id have to look.
Yeah Id go bigger and have the ability to grow into them as needed. You know you'll always want more power!! And its just a pulley swap away with the blower.

I've seen guys make between 650 and 700 rwhp with 60's on gas. A third of that on E85 would put you in the 450-500 rwhp range. I'd probably go with Brians setup and buy 80's myself, just to have some room for future growth.

The fuel system setup is an oddball in the 98 Cobras. I believe it is specific to that year, and to only the Cobras.
A quick search turned up this thread on SVTP.

You may want to talk to whoever is going to tune it about what approach you should take with the fuel system before you start buying parts for it.

The fuel rails are weird on 96-98 cobras.
My 98 cobra had a set of aeromotive rails modified to fit the b head cobra intake.
I will have a set of 80's coming off my car shortly. Only ran them for a year. Made 600 to the tire on e85.
All yours for $200.00

Where the rails something you could buy from aeromotive to work with the b heads or did you have to outsource them to get them to work? Shoot me a pm on the injectors. Also what did you do as far as fuel pumps since the 98 is a bastard child. I am contemplating sumping the gas tank.

It's about time you get to work on that thing. I thought I would have 2 more short blocks before you started on it.

Most of the parts along with a set of R heads and a ported Vic Jr. are already at Mike's.
