I looked at those, But after talking to the owner of the Gun Shop and his wife that have 40+ years of owning a Gun Shop and experience with thousands of guns, They swayed me towards the Bersa since that's what they both carry ...
Of Course with R.I.P. rounds ... LOL

I think Kel-Tec is now making a carbine version of the PMR-30, I believe it uses the same magazines.

I have the Kimber micro carry, very nice gun and very concealable.

Yeah the Micro would be a lot easier to conceal than the one I have now.

Can't put a price on your life. Never know when you might need it. I was carrying a SR9C before I bought this one and found myself never carrying it because of comfort.

I carry micro as well. Have two. S/W and Sig are high end enough for my wallet. Can't swing a grand for a Kimber micro. Sweet gun Eric, but out of my league in price. BTW we still need to go shooting.

Kimber micro was like 600 bucks. It is identical to the sig just cheaper.

Really? I just looked at on line pricing and the price I saw was $999.00. I must have pulled up the wrong model or something. Just ran another quick check and found them priced 490-650 depending on flavor. MY BAD!!!!! Stupid Internet. I'd trade my Sig for something that looks that nice. Oops. nope I see when that is called a CDP with crimson laser priced at 1049.00. WOW! what a range. Must be tons of variations of the model available.KIMBER MICRO CDP LG LASER GRIP .380 ACP/AUTO is the one listed for 1049.00.

As much as I love 1911s I usually favor a wheel gun for carry.

I contemplated that myself but decided to go auto for some reason. Like the LCR Rugers a lot. Light weight, but only 5 rounds if I recall on the LCR. S/W Bodyguard has made me happy. Double action with a safety to boot. Its a little thinner than the LCR I believe due to no cylinder, but a little easier in my hand than the LCP Ruger 380 or LCR. It goes everywhere with me...even church, and especially church Cameron. LOL! Thought you'd get a kick out of that.

Yeah the Crimson Trace is $359 alone I think.

Gotcha. Was just breezing through Cabelas site and there are scads of micro models to choose from. Only wish they were double action. I prefer that for micro carry. Just me. I feel safer from misfire with a chambered weapon that is double action over a cocked and safety on single action. Had I not hada cousin turn me on to the S/W bodytguard I would have gone with a Ruger LCR and stayed revolver like Cameron was mentioning.

Hear you on that. I was in the same boat with my XD mod 2 till I switched to the Liberty Civil defense ammo. I can't wait for the Kimber Micro 9. I see that gun replacing my XD Mod 2 in the future:

I have both a S&W 638 and 649. When the 649 is loaded with .357 magnums you had better be damn sure you want to pull that trigger. I've always thought it made a .500SW seem easy to shoot :) .

Interesting conversations here. Myself and my wife both have Walther PPS 9mm, I bought one for her and liked it so much I ended up getting one for myself. We picked up a SW bodyguard revolver 38sp+p thinking she might like that as a hamerless revolver, and I liked that it was a very basic and dependable revolver. She determined it was too snappy for her. I have not decided if I want to sell it or keep it yet. It has the crimson trace built in which was another feature she liked.

Today I seen where Rural King had the Walther PPS SW40 on sale for 329.99 which sems to be a really good deal, thats less than what I paid for my 9mm, kinda wish I could buy it instead of the 9mm, but then again ammo is more and since I like to shoot as much as possible, the 9mm is a little more affordable. I am not sure how much more effective the 40 is over a 9mm, I am sure it packs more punch.
