Can trick flow twisted wedge heads be run on a stock bottom end without any ptv clearance issues? Mild cam less than .500 lift. Are there any other problems running these heads? Spark plugs/wires headers?

If your wanting to run a TW head, you will want to run TW pistons.

Under .500 lift I don't think it's an issue though.

I have TW 170s on a stock bottom end with TFS1 cam with no problems.

That's what I've been reading. As long as you stay under 540 lift 235 duration and 10 degree separation. The 170 will work on stock Pistons. Just wanted to hear from someone that has done it rather than he said she said. Thanks.

That's if you put it in straight up (dot to dot)f. If you start playing with cam timing, you can run into trouble. Just clay it to be sure.

Yes, I've installed and usedthese heads a lot over the years. They are my preferred choice for cylinder heads. Yes .540 lift 235 duration is max. Stg 1 tfs cam works perfect with them. The new 11R heads have more ptv clearance in them as well.
