Hoping to get the drag springs finally on this week and the pinion angle adjusted so its ready for E20 this Friday night. The high is supposed to be 72 degrees. No indication of rain at this time either. Anyone else looking to hang out and make a few passes? I plan to be there NLT 5:45pm traffic permitting.

Now that right there is some of the best news I've heard yet. Rumor mill has it some others will be there as well. Also heard that the forcast on the DA is supposed to be about 720ft Friday if I understood my source correctly.

I wouldn't mind bringing mine out. But I don't think the T3650 will handle the 600whp on the track!

If a POS MT-82 can handle 568 at the wheel on DR's that 3650 ought to be up to it...don't cha think?

I made 616 at the wheels on a mustang dyno and my mt82 never skipped a beat! This one has already broken an input shaft on a WOT shift

No kidding. That is impressive. Still will never trust the MT-82 as long as its assembled in China. Should have stuck with the Tremec and done a T56 magnum XL or similar in the 11 to date.
Had a great time by the way.

Good seeing you guys. Great weather but I didn't make low 13s or high12s I was hoping for. I hope you made it into the 10s Chad.

Just missed it Joe. Ran the 11.05 and decided to make another pass in the same lane. Dropped the pressire1/2 pound and added 10 lb to the fronts hoping to find a stroke of luck, hit a similar 1.65 60ft or better and get but it never happened. Blew the tires off and ran 11.34. I should have known there was something afoot when all the slick cars were staging for the left lane in the last pass. Don't know if it was me or the lane but it sat and spun off the line. Personally I blame myself.

I had a better 60 ft in the left lane. I'm not sure if it was hooking better or what. I think you should go on a race day. They prep the track better. I may go myself on a Saturday because my best 60 ft passes was at muscle car Sunday last year and they had the track prepped and there was probably more rubber on the track then.

That just might be a great idea Joe. Could go when UMTR is running and sign up for the trophy class if I recall right which is only $30 total. Meanwhile back at the ranch, I'm ordering a mammoth size triple pass heat exchanger with dual 11" fans on Tuesday. IAT2 were 131 in that cooler air last evening so figured a bigger heat exchanger would at least keep me safe and more consistent in hotter ambient air temps.

Mine was running right around 94-104 at Kilkare and that's with the Fluidyne heat exchanger and no fans. If you can get them down in the 75-95 degree range, it will make some power.
