Curious if anyone has compared these two engines and if a 2.5 out of a ranger would fit in a mustang? I know they moved the oil pump out of the pan and put it up on the side turned by the serpentine belt. I am curious if the pan would even fit in a mustang chassis. I may end up just buying a 2.3 out of a stang for it. Car-part.com says ranger 2.3 are the same as a 93 2.3 stang engine so it makes me wonder if i can get the 2.5 to set down in the stang and get the electronics to work.
If anyone has a 2.3 they are selling out of a 92/3 2.3 stang engine let me know. I'm interested in getting ine asap.

Did you already blow the other engine up?

I didn't blow it up. It broke a rod. Been running great for a couple months now, guess it was damaged from when the strategy has an issue with the binary in the background along with the crap boost controller. I'm going to toss another engine in it and it'll be fine. Tune was more than safe and power level was low enough not to cause any issues.
