Looking for idea to help me get my 60ft down next year. Right now I have UPR K member and A arms with Bilstein struts with 12-250 coil over springs on the front. The rear is Eibach lowering springs with Strange 10 way shocks. I have UPR double adjustable uppers and MM Weight Jacker lowers.

I was thinking Strange front struts with a 12-175 spring up front.

For the rear I was thinking get the UPR lowers and Eibach drag springs.

Id love to see a mid to high 1.30 60ft come spring. Best so far was a 1.47 which had to be a fluke because the rest was all 1.52-1.55.

Or just swap out to an auto!

I would try a set of stock springs in the rear. A lot of guys seem to have good luck running them with a coil cut off.

I came across a set of 4 cylinder capri springs when I was building my latest setup, hard to believe factory Springs work better than some aftermarket ones

Team Z makes a rear drag spring as well

Just looked up the springs from Team Z. I may just have to order a set. At $176, that's not to bad! I may go ahead and order the front coil over springs also. Im thinking about getting the 12-175 to put on some Strange struts.

12-175s would be pretty short. I've run 14-175,14-150, and 14-130. The 150s are on the car now.

12" is way too short. I ran those on my renegade car because I didn't know any better, best 60' on a 9.70 pass was a 1.56. Should have been a 1.2X. Put 14-135 on my real street car and got 1.2X 60'. 12" long are great for road racing because you want the car real low and no stored energy in the springs. Drag racing, you want a lot of stored energy in the springs up front to transfer to the rear of the car, lifting the front end. I had to limit mine once I got the car working so it wouldn't go on the bumper every pass. Rear springs are something to work with. Skip the expensive ones from Team Z, run a set of 99 up rear convertible GT springs. Getting a stick to work on the track is a lot of work, but worth it in the end. This is how I've made cars work for years now, so take it or leave it.

I have a set of 14-175 springs here. I was going to order Strange 10 way struts to put them on and try. I know with how low the car is, it will never transfer any energy.

You have a set of springs laying around Mike?

On the rear of my 03 I liked my relocated uppers, adjustable lowers, and arb from baseline. I ran stock gt springs with one coil cut.

Thanks Tommy! I may look into that as well.
