Three weeks until the official opening day of E20!!! Who's going? Racing 12 - 5pm

Anyone game if the temps are say 55 or so? I'm doubting it, but thought I'd ask.

In before Bone gives another excuse about how he doesn't have a car to bring down, even when the track is open. First 1985 Escort EXP in Cincy is of no consolation FYI.

Well here goes. Guess I will be photobugging at best if they open 3.4.2017. Just got back from Finishline getting the struts and springs mounted and had Brian listen to the rear end while up on the rack since it has been making what sounded like bearing noise since late last fall. Could barely turn the rear end with the DS (car in neutral). Started it up and put it in gear and spun up and listened with a scope and sure enough the pinion gear is going south. I noticed it was hard to rotate last fall when swapping to the DR's for the last TT night of passes at E20, but blew it off as break in after getting the rear axle tubes welded up. Probably would have gotten that 10.79 after running the 10.82 with all of that drag. So the car goes in for rear end rebuild 3/10/2017. Stuff happens.

That sucks Chad! Hopefully you get it fixed up and that reduced drag nets you a killer timeslip!

Should be ready to go by the 11th. Got the parts ordered and on the way. Thought about going to a 3.31 vice 3.15 but the car is working well with the 3.15 so will follow the old proverb, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

I went, was able to make a burnout and that was it. The water pump blew the seal in the burnout and caused the blower belt to come off. This crap is getting so frustrating.

Lots of cars there though, in typical fashion the prep was ridiculously bad. 11 sec cars couldn't hook.

I have to swap front struts yet and get new slicks put on. Looking for a 1.39 or better 60ft! I have to do a little bit for safety to so maybe they wont boot me out this year.

Does that include the 2.5 hour wait while the bracket racers make 3-4 passes before opening the lanes up to other cars? No prep is worth that. I'll watch at KK but I have paid my one and only TT fee.

Shayne you don't do the ole facebook thing or Id add ya!! If your interested though, PM Evil8 and he can get you setup. Like I said, its $100 to make as many passes as you can. You park in the staging lanes and roll up whenever you feel like making a hit.

This is one of Charlie's (Evil8) test days. Its mainly for the heads up/grudge cars for XOS. There is no wait for the bracket cars on these days and its only $1 to spectate which it has to be the best day to watch. Usually people with some nasty cars from far away come to test also.

Yes...4/23
Yes it's $100...but the track is probably in the best shape you will see for any of the local tracks. They usually prep one lane for slicks and the other for radials. Usually only 25-30 cars there...so you can get plenty of runs in.
It's a shame that it's about worthless to take anything faster than a mid 10 second car to edgewater to test unless your on superswampers.

Hmmmm... then that might be worth the money........maybe. Would be nice to see some XOS action without waiting for 50 rounds of bracket cars on a Saturday night as well.

I did that once and he immediately pm'd me trying to sell me a LS motor. I told him that I wasnt interested in making less power, but thx anyway.

Cant go wrong with a coyote fox. Ben Wakeling is building a nasty little coyote coupe with an 88 I think. They make killer power and with the weight of the foxbody, they will fly!
