I am planning on racing hensley for his spot on the challenge list tomorrow night. But we have been trying that for three weeks now. So assuming no natural disasters or weather issues the two of us will be there.

So, how did things turn out?

Hensley kept his spot. And i have some work to do on my clutch. I keep getting a dead hook then bog. Clutch was too grabby. So I tried slipping it a little more and smoked the clutch. That ended my night. I have not pulled it apart but i think the springs in the pressure plate got too hot and they lost there "spring". I finished the pass and it was slipping a little on the big end but i was only down 3-4mph. I pushed the pedal to slow down and after that i had no clutch whatsoever.

Sorry to hear, but slipping the clutch from a launch is never a good idea.
