So I bought a 03 Cobra 1:18 model at Sams Club years ago. I believe it was 12 dollars and there were a ton of them there. I decided to sell it because in perfect condition they can fetch more than 100 dollars now and I'm slowly saving for new supercharger. Just crazy that people want this few year old toy so much.

Maestro diecast? I got one too that matched my car back when they were cheap. Took the springs out to lower it. Keeping mine!

That's the one, some reason they blew up in value recently.

They've been expensive for a while now actually, at least the last 3 or 4 years. There are guys who custom paint them for the people who have cars with colors they didn't produce. Another guy was reproducing the stickers/decals for a while, since you need them after a repaint.

Mine just been collecting dust and I hardly look at it anymore. It would be nice if our real Cobras 10x their value in future. I had no idea they went up in value till this year when I was looking for things to sell.

Between the die cast car and the 4.6 supercharged model engine that came out also, they are both through the roof.

I want one of those 1/4 scale engines. Not sure where I'd put it, but I still want it. They used to be in the $350 range, now they are $600+.

I think all of these insane prices for scale models of the car/engine bodes well for the future value of these cars. Seems like lots of cars are still priced at $25K to $30k+ if they are in nice condition with low miles. When the economy tanked, you could pick them up under $20K, but those days are gone. Only high mileage, beat cars are under $20K nowadays. Verts don't seem to command the same price that coupes do I've noticed. Probably a good time to pick up a vert for the collector. Eventually they will be worth more since less were made.

I know where a clean lower mileage Comp Orange vert is.... $25K out in Oklahoma. Id love to have it sitting with mine. Then Im only a Comp Orange Mach 1 away!

I would like to have one of those models as well as a Foxbody Coupe, I would definitely paint it like my cars color scheme... Lol

Ive picked up a few of the old fox body coupes over the year. Mostly SSP cars. I think my boys still have a few.

The model went for 100 dollars today. Not bad considering I don't have the original box.

There's nothing wrong with it. I'm wanting a TVS in it. I'm hoping to save up for one by Black Friday when VMP has a sale. Until then I'll just sport the ported blower.
