Had a fun evening out at edgewater tonight. Got to hang with matt, hensley, shayne and rick. Kept the car turned down but managed a few clean passes while trying to get the cobwebs off the car. It had not left the garage since a cruise in last fall.

That’s just a start, last year was 156 with old setup. Look at the 1/8mph and I usually have 120’s... but I took it easy and just wanted to get a full pass. Should end up in the 160’s this year.... more to come :)

I think for next trip out we are putting the biggest pulley we can on it and taking a bunch of power out of the car to get the Et down and adjusting the suspension.

This is with the Bilsteins back on and the stock seats. The plugs seem to be the biggest help. Changing them before each outing helps a lot.

Whoa! I ran 9.16@154 back in 2006 to become #1 on the DD. I had No AC, PS, Navigation, none of the creature comforts, yours has and I wouldnt drive it more than 100 miles round trip.
So this is pretty freakin cool!

Since there's still room for someone like me in the dozen... I took mine out before I broke the trans. One thing to note, I missed 4th, hence the low trap speed... I made a similar run later that hit 4th had a higher trap but lower total E.T.... go figure.

Overall it looks promising. This pass was 15/16 psi, lifting around 1000ft and coasting. Several Stangbanger members were there.

popped the cherry on the 17 last night. Tune needs some tweeking. Had shift points defaulted to 7000 vice 7500 and there is some torque protection crap going on in the tune apparently pulling timing at shift points but all in all not bad for firstime out in 3 seasons.

I was reviewing the datalog again and the KNOCK sensor was not pulling any timing but merely going from negative (which is good) to zero briefly which I suspect is a byproduct of the Torque Source PID strategy 7 going active (whatever 7 means). There is a total of .402 seconds where timing is strongly inhibited and reduced from 18 advance to as much as 3 retarded during that time frame. I hope to hear something back this week on it.

Lund. They offered to remote tune for me track side but since the process has been slow on my part and until recently I never had a smart phone I told them not to be in a rush with it. In spite of that they get updates to me within a business day or so usually.

Just got to figure out what to do to get the 60 down other than a stall converter. Tried leaving on an idle, 1200, 1500. Doesn't feel like its spinning, just leaving slow. I suspect there is some torque management going on in spite of advance trac being disabled and the datalog showing no torque source commanded on the leave or through our the pass. However that said, there is a lot of timing advance/retard action taking place on the leave though RPM indicates no spin. So I am going to try the trick others have suggested and pull the plug on the ABS unit disabling and assuring all traction assist and torque management is cut off. Will see how that effects the leave. Hopefully I will at least then see the car spin and then be able to ascertain what I need to do next on suspension mods for better weight transfer.

Good luck on getting the slicks woke up with the KBCobra process. Hope it works for you.

I had a few issues that night with my iat sensor not reading the temps of the lower intake so my ice tank was not making a bit of difference on the passes. Goal is 9s with the stock mt82

What's the process to get stickers from last year?

I've got the ball rolling on them and they will be made soon. I'm going to have to make a post where I can get everyone's info on where I can send the stickers to. I'm having '17s and '18s made up as I'm not 100% sure the '17s were done. So, anyone reading this, if you're on the '17 or '18 lists, the stickers are being made, I'm just going to need contact info. I apologize for these not being done sooner. Thanks Walter for giving me the heads up on this.

I saw you on your 2nd pass after the clean up when they was down to the 1 lane. It wasn't a good night for the track crew. I was up for my first pass when the nitrous backfire happened and they spent 20 minutes cleaning up from it.

Yea I heard E20 was spin city last night. New owners this year at MCIR and they are bringing that track back. Prep was great on Friday TnT and it’s only $15. Easier to get to for me from Troy as it’s north in La Rue than fighting cincy traffic.,

I finally got the 8 sec monkey off my back. Terry and Walter were with me. I ran two 8.8x passes lifting early on both, Once I get me catchcan sorted out I think theres a little more left. 15 psi for 5.4 sec, then 22 psi.

Best was 8.87 lifting around 1100 ft. MORE TO COME!!

I finally got that ecoboost in the 11's. 11.95 @ 115. This winter will be about making her hook. I couldn't leave at anything above 2000 rpms on the two step without spinning. Here is the link to the slip. and video.
