View Full Version : 90 year old Korean Vet passes - no family

Hezekiah Perkins will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery (Section 137. Lot 318, Space 1) at 3:00pm. He has no immediate or distant family in the area. Very Distant Family (not in the area) made aware of his passing have requested veterans to volunteer to attend the graveside services as he is laid to rest with military honors. I will be attending and hope other veterans and non-serving free Americans will follow suit. Grave diggers are currently acting as Pall Bearers. It would be a sad moment for a veteran to be laid top rest without any respect being shown on this memorial day weekend.

Yes 5/25/2019 @ 3pm. Wife saw it on the 5 news website this morning. If you have a FB page Brian please post the funeral service and details there if you do not mind. I am not on FB. Thanks

HUGE TURN OUT! The line was so long we never made it to the plot before the ceremony was over. Oh well.

That's good to hear! Would have been a shame for nobody to show. I would have rode up with you had I seen this.
