Low Profile Door handles?

What about a 96ish Ford Thunderbird handle...or Lincoln MK VIII handle? They fit more flush and would give the car some custom flair. Would take some body work but seems like I've seen that done somewhere. May be Shaynes Orange car.

That is my old coupe, and I had Dave and his crew put C5 door handles on it.

^^^ Geez Craig. I remember the car being up for sale now. Sucks getting old and never seeing anyone any more. The handles look awesome on his car regardless of what they came off of.

Just saw a guy put them on a white coupe and painted them black. I'm a fan. At a quick glance they really don't look that much different than the stockers. The guy said he did have to make significant adjustments to the mount to get the gaps correct.

There is a video on that page showing them painted and installed. It does look better than the OEM chonkers in my opinion.
