Headers/Exhaust 07' GT

Im thinking of getting the Borla LT Header/ O/R X-Pipe combo and the Borla cat-Back Stinger exhaust. All together its about $2000. My qestion is, can I really expect to see any real increase in power/performance from this setup. Like will I only gain like 1 or 2 Peak HP/TQ or something? I know that even if the Peak HP/TQ gain is small, the power curve could still be a good level above the stock power curve which would be good to. Just wondering if this setup is really worth getting, or if exhaust power claims are all just a bunch of hype. I know that forced induction would be the better way to go, but I really dont have 5-6 grand in the budget right now.

You will see a 15-20hp gain as long as you use a tuner and have it tuned. Don't do it unless you plan on buying a tuner with it!

Go see Ken at MD to have it tuned and turn off your rear O2 sensors. 15-20 rwhp soumds about right maybe even more.

With the exhaust upgraded now, you will benifit slightly. Later when you do add a power adder, you will benifit even more. LET HER BREATHE!

When go with a power adder will it be SC or TC. If you go with a TC stay with your stock manifolds. PM me if you want to hear what the Stingers and O/R H sounds like.
