If it allowed me to get my hands in the engine bay? It would be totally worth it.
Besides, a Vette with 600 or 1000 HP; going to run the same at the track ;)

I ordered some custom vents to try out. They fit perfect. Im going to have them painted to match the car. Hopefullykeep the engine temps down.

They look good, were you having engine temp issues?
It would get to 215 if i got stuck in traffic on a 95 degree day. Just trying to prevent a future issue. I have a few more tricks i can do. Im going to cut the bumper support so its not blocking half the intercooler. Then im going to box it in making it stronger than before. It'll have to wait cause the car goes into tuning the 16th.
Looks nice! Im sure your ready to get back into it and make some passes! Im sure it will be nasty as hell!
It's been a long wait. Too bad they couldn't get me in before the shootout. Maybe its a good thing. Im either going to break record or break parts.
If your luck is like mine, it will be parts!
I wish I could've been out more this year. Its been a rough one.
Man since I bought the house, I haven't had much time or money to do anything else. I haven't done anything to it but change the plugs this year!
I ended up taking Unreal and Nino S' advice and cut my bumper support to allow more air to reach the intercooler and radiator. I have 3/16" or 1/4" steel plate at work. Im going to weld it into the open areas. It'll be allot stronger than before.

Then I put it on the ground and loaded it to get tuned.

Should make well north of a couple hundred horses Id say!!!
The bumper was huge! Im sure that will help out a lot!
Especially with the front facia and fenders out of the way. It should stay really cool for the summer. If it was my car though i would rather have fenders but knock the boost down a little.

The front bumper is off so they can put it on the dyno. Made it easier to put on the tow truck too. The carbon splitter for it was $2,000 and I don't want to replace that. Its too low to the ground to chance it. The fenders are off because the ecu, meth injection, coil packs and wires are all hidden in the fender. If there's a wiring issue. Its right out in the open. No reason to pay someone to take the fenders back off and possibly damaging them. They are going back on the car.
I think my sarcasm was lost in the text.

Is this thing at finish line ? Who's doing the tuning ?
I just can't catch a break. Doesn't even have 50-100 miles on it.

Is the blade hitting?
Seal is going bad
That sucks! I know how much trouble you went through just getting it on. I feel for ya!
Is it oil fed? Maybe needs a restrictor in the feed line? I know a lot of companies will say not to use them, but they work when the seals are getting blown out by 100 PSI of oil pressure.
Mfing cars! Sorry to see this.
Man! Nothing is ever easy! I'm sorry bud.
The return line is like 4 times bigger than the feed line. You'd think that would be enough but who knows with this thing.
I think my Ysi had a -4 feed and -10 return.

See post four, I'm not sure why it's building too much pressure. I wonder if you can regulate the incoming oil pressure. 50-100 miles??? Was it a faulty blower? I had a balance issue on my new turbo that ruined my bearings and turbo seals in about 1000 miles.
That's a awesome idea. I don't think that would work on mine because the ysi isnt self lubricanted like Procharger blowers. Mine gets oil from the engine. Which the my motor has a pcv catch can that relieves crank pressure. So idk. Im just a garage mechanic with limited knowledge. Ive never built anything like this before.
Is the oil drain to engine higher than the oil level?
The oil return is at the very top front of the oil pan.
If it has wheels, tits or a roof it will give you problems....
Wow ! Good quote
Sent the intake and valve covers out to get the map sensor, iat sensor and 10an fittings welded in
