Nice pics!!!!!
And i'll say it one more time as i've said several already. Tim won the race, it was never said that he didn't. The car looked great, and he was a heck of a nice guy.

I just want to thank everyone that took place in this, it was a great event itself. I had a few complications but did not allow that to prevent me from enjoying the meet and greet...
The Capri is street driven more than you think on pump gas. I know Tim had his car on a very small shot and the NOS coming on 2 second down the track. The car has been 9.28 this year. Yesterday he took it to the track and ran a 5.72 @ 119.9 with a 1.28 60ft on the rear tires. He could have really made you look slow if wanted but hes not that kind of guy. Like Adam said long as he's hanging out with his family and friends thats all that matters to him not some race where people always complain.
Also Tim wanted to ask if you wanted to meet and drive to Kil-Kare and race a heads race for some $. LMK and I will tell him a time and date?
Okay, typical Middletucky crap. Not Tim, but you. I never said his car wasn't street driven. Please quote anywhere I said that.
I never complained, i had no expectations on winning even before I knew anything goes. I went to have a good time and I did. Tim was a great guy, and his car did great. I think this is now the 5th time i've posted this.
I was very happy with my placing, i honestly didn't think i would place that high. Had some of the other cars showed that were supposed to, but went 8.5 racing, I wouldn't have. I immediately placed the #2 sticker on the car (next to all my other stickers) and was proud to do so.
Personally, for me, I was pleased as hell that I was the fastest car to drive to and from the event. That has nothing to do with his car, and is in no way intended to take away from his car. That was my personal goal. Everyone has their own goals with their cars. I said his car ran on slicks and was trailered home, which was perfectly legal for this event! HE WON!
Once i get the belt slipped worked out. The car should have no problems running 9's at over 3900lbs. Even at tristate. My 60's were off by 2 tenths, i was down 4 psi of boost from belt slip, and the car still ran great.
It's a daily driver, (not a "street car") that i drive whenever i can, i drove it 100 miles to and from the event. drove it 85 miles to and from the cruise in yesterday. Drove it work today, and will drive it everyday this week that it doesn't rain. Not because it won't go in the rain, because i try to keep it extra clean. I drove it to work saturday in the rain, to have for the event.
It's a car I can jump in and head to florida in if i want, and do it very comfortably. Thats the kind of car i want. Again, no reflection of his car.
I have no delusions that I have the fastest street car in the greater cincinnati area. Do I think I have one of the fastest daily drivers, yes.
(with fingers in my ears)
na, na, na, na, na, na
Go away, I can't hear you.
