I wonder, if you guys are willing to post it. For the top ten, how much money does each guy have in their own car? I bet there is a little bit of money tied up in the top ten! Not counting the sweat and tears.

I have a good amount tied up in mine mostly due to the cost of a brand new car (in 2011).
As it sits today I have around $48K in it.

I try not to think about that. I really have no idea on the "total". I've had my coupe since '99. Started racing it as a stock 302/5sp setup in NMRA F/S in '00, added gt40p heads, then built a R block 347 in '02, then my current turbo 338 in '10-11. Lots of upgrades along the way. Now I'm thinking of selling my coupe as a roller this winter. Want something newer/different.

My guess is crying about what's a street car, people not being honest whether they sold a car or broke it. You know the same stuff every year. My plan is to make mine faster than the year before, meet old and new friends. If it makes the list, great. If not there's always next year. Congrats to all who participated.

I'd love to see a street tire only division added. No DR's, No slicks just street tires. Keep the main DD and add a Street DD. Same rules would apply.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster! My car is 7th and even its scary as hell on street tires!:D

The concept is very similar to the Outlaw 8.5 class, which pretty much only restricts tire size and power adders to one with regard to DRIVE/POWER TRAIN. The class would have to be truly street legal, track safety rules apply, etc. Just running on street tires. No DR's no Slicks. Guess you could dial it down a bit if you chose to run a higher end street legal car in the class.
