but i'm still excited about getting the wheels on and brakes. And also the fuel rails on
A little update on my car. The car is at MD for some suspension work and a new clutch. I had them install Steeda lower control arms, Steeda Upper control arms, Steeda Panhard bar, Steeda light wieght radiator support, Spec Stang 3 Clutch, Spec stage 3 Aluminum flywheel, and spec stage 3 pressure plate. I havent picked the car up because Ken is retuning the car. I will let you know how it hooks and rides.
here she is after last round of mods. currently she is back at modular depot for 4.6 aluminator block, tci auto shifter, and a few other things that i cant remember cause i'm half asleep.

Looking good, hopefully I can get my car from MD soon so I can get it repainted.
so what paint colors and design??
might get the new one the blue repainted needs it in a few spots.
I had my car wieghed at MD with four corner scales. Greg said it weighed in at 3550 lbs. Time to get this pig on a diet. Anyone have ideas? So far my light weight mods are: Aluminum DS, Aluminum flywheel, Steeda light weight radiator support, Steeda UCA(Only a couple pounds saved), Steeda LCA(Only a couple pounds saved). Im probly going to put a BMR K-member and A-arms.
Subscribing to the weight loss.
If someone can get one of these at 3,000# and still be streetable i'd buy one, lol.
Mine is extremly dirty right now but I finally got a day off so I decided to take a couple pics.

Looks good but you have nothing on my car for the dirtiest S197. haha
blazin you have probally one of my favorites, anything special under that big hood.
Nothing special yet. Only mod is a k&N intake, but I am going to pick up a SCT X3 in the next 3 weeks.
In the next year I am going to go with a set of long tube headers, off road h pipe, not sure what brand mufflers yet (probably flows).
I have to install a set of GT500 lower control arms and the rear window louvers that are sitting in the garage waiting for warmer weather.
I got the hood in anticipation of a kenne bell for the future!!!
Nice car, why did you buy a hood for the Kenne Bell? The Kb will fit under a factory hood. I would becareful buying the SCT X3. I bought one from MD and had to return it. Ken warned me about the X3 being so new. They needed to fix a few bugs in the system. Hopefully SCT has fixed them by now.
Just a heads up those GT500 LCA's won't be much of an improvement. The only difference between them and the GT LCA's are a slightly stiffer bushings.
I agree, Im not sure what your goals are (Blazin). If you want better parts I would go with BMR, Steeda or the best which is Griggs IMO. The GT500 LCA'a are almost the same as the GT's. I noticed a decent improvement in the Steeda LCA and UCA on my car. Just my 2 cents.
Back in Aug. I bought my 07' GT with about 5K miles. It's Torch Red with black leather, 5 speed, factory 3.55 gears and 17" silver painted billet style fact rims. Only mods at that time were a Flowmaster cat-back. And with that its put down 268 RWHP and 285 RWTQ on Dayton Performance's dyno. A Pro 5.0 shifter and a Spec3+ clutch and lightweight flywheel. One piece heavy-duty drive shaft from Coast Driveline to handle all the torque I'm going to throw at it. Just had the Kenne Bell 2.6L supercharger kit installed at the beginning of fall. It made 10.8 psi of boost and 470 RWHP and 432 RWTQ on the Dayton Performance dynojet with a SCT X3 tune. After throwing some belts I installed a Thump RRR Racing belt tensioner. I have a lot of things I'd like to do with this car... Including stripes, a body kit and wheels. Unfortunately I got layed-off a few months ago so this is how its going to sit for a while.
Let me guess, you was installing a supercharger and forgot to disconnect your battery and arched out and fried the PCM. Just a guess but I here it happens allot so I am assuming you did the same thing. If that is true what supercharger did you get? and how much is a PCM?
If you need a spare computer I have a CDC3 code ECU sitting at the house.
Bingo! So we replaced the pcu with a temp one. Its showing code 2107? Throttle Body Actuator? I swapped tbs w/o change. They are back tracking the problem. Unfortunately for me there is a line of cars in front of me. I need to get some seat time on the car for some events. The car is brand new diff tires,PA,diff clutch (not in yet) so I need to adjust. So if you've heard of this before if you know of any possibilities? It cranks ,won't turn over.
Hmmm, I may of read it on S197 not realizing it was you. I have read this happening to allot (about 5 people) of people who decide to install the SC on their own. Let me know how your clutch feels. My car shakes during take off. Ken said it will get better after it breaks in.
