Some nice looking welds. Who did them?
It should be a sweet ride!! Thats Rob Lewis's handy work!!!!
Looking good brother
Thanks everybody, I just have to keep the ball rolling.
It is Rob Lewis that is doing the roll cage and installing my anti roll bar, he also did the mini tub on it and the aluminum fuel tank.
Rob is the man
Nice work on the roll cage, have you already tied the sub-frame together?
Does Rob do any aluminum interior work? I need a bulkhead to seal off the trunk area in my LX Hatchback.
you mean like this :D.... robs work also

Looks good eirher way
Looks good either way
Define mini-tub...This Coupe has rear control arms in the stock location on the body and modified rear frame rails. The rear tubs were modified to retain the back seat. A FULL tub would be aftermarket rear suspension with aftermarket frame rails, no back seat etc etc:bigthumb
What all was done to the rear frame rails? Are they just notched? Either way it looks mean as hell!
Where the rails bend up and start towards the rear, Rob removed that section and made new rails to support the one off Alum fuel tank.

Thanks guys, I really am going to do my best with this car.
Here is another photo of the front roll cage dropped down the pillar through the dash.
Very nice build u got going on. Everything looks top notch.
Lookin good!
Thanks guys...
Here are a few extra photos of the roll cage being hidden up to the front frame rails. This is to keep it nice and neat under the hood.
More photos to come of the roll cage and the anti-roll bar.
Almost a shame those welds are hidden like that. Its a work of art!! :)
It's going to be bad ass when you get it back from Rob!!!!
