Still slowly picking up parts for this one.
Picked up a JW Ultra bell for the C4.
Also picked up a set of 60lb injectors from Evolved.
Getting closer. Still haven't decided which route I am going to go.

Selling the black car gave me a little motivation to get this one back up and running.
Installed the Ultra bell and put the old PTC converter back in. I'll try it out with the new motor and see how it does. If its still too tight, Ill get it back out and to them to loosen up.
New motor is in, headers and turbo are on. Just need to get it bolted up and wired.
git er dun! cool
Nice to see you are going to get this one back out. I'm betting the converter loosens a decent bit going to a "built" engine at 12lbs vs the stocker at 6. Can't wait to see it at the track.
Ill have another one out too but it will be a minute. Still searching for one... Things are everywhere until you go to buy one.
I finally got the Contour fan mounted to a new aluminum radiator. Need to get it wired up and installed.
What is everyone doing to wire up fans? Any controller out there that is better than another or just relays?

I used this dual 70 amp relay board from Leash https://leashelectronics.com/product...mp-relay-board for my Contour fans and controlling when the fans kick on with my Dominator.

If you want PWM control I've heard pretty good things from people about this one.

We just installed the derale one, it works really well
My car has a dakota digital fan controller i believe it comes with dual 70 amp relays for the high and low speed control. It seems to work pretty good so far.
Got the intake and throttle body on. Installed a Stifflers transmission crossmember also. Made a little progress before the oldest boy came over and he wanted to get his running again.

Finally bled the brakes and put a hood back on the 86. Still have a lot left to do to it. Its been down for 5 years Id say. Putting the 86 quarter glass back in too. Fired up and ran like a dream.

Finally pulled the exhaust of. The turbo sure didn't like the chambered mufflers on the dyno. So Ill have a complete Mac exhaust for sale if anyone is in need....

So I bought the old black car back. I missed that damn thing and bugged him enough to get him to sell it back to me. So.... I am pulling the Prostars off of it since I picked up a new set of wheels for it and putting them on the red car. Also started the 5 lug conversion. Just using the Mk7 rotors on the front for now. Ordered a set of Moser 28 spline axles, 3 inch studs, and a Moser girdle.

Got the Tial 44 wastegate today. Installed the green and red spring for around 7 lbs to start. Ready to get this one fired back up.
Still waiting on my Moser axles to get the rear end buttoned up.
Put a set of 5 lug Moser axles in and installed a girdle.

Just what I needed... Another project. 1964 Fairlane 500. Im digging this one though. Had a set of the cheap Jegs wheels so I put them on since the others were flat. All the trim was in the trunk. Just going to put a 302 and C4 in this one and drive it once I figure out what kind of cheap paint I can throw on it. Its a rough old car but pretty cool.
Also picked up a 67 Fairlane too but I may just move that one down the road since I have this one now.

My dad says he likes your 68 mustang seats in the 64. Good mod :)
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We looked at them today and we thought that was what they were. Good to know 100%!
Let's see the 67 Fairlane!!
The Fairlane needs its own Build Thread! :cool1:
Love this thread!
The 67 Fairlane. May sell this one so I can focus more on the 64 and all the other Mustangs here.

I dig the Fairlane, favorite body style of the years. Good scores!
Rear end is all back together now. Will be putting a set of Mk 7, 5 lug front rotors on tomorrow. Got tires on the front Bogart wheels so I may put them on this on for now. May try to get it fired up this week. Im not far off from having it running.
nice
Ready to see this back out soon and see how it does with all of the improvements. :cool1:
Id be happy right around 500 to the wheels. I think that's realistic.
I still need to address the fuel system. Id like to switch over to E85 also.
I have some stuff for sale. Pump, filters, etc.
Have you seen the holley 525lph drop in fuel hat/pump assembly its $300 and looks like a nice setup
