Im getting ready to start work on my car(finally), ill be needing your specialties in the near future! :D
No problem, you know where to find me:bigthumb
I am very happy with the way my Subaru wheels turned out. They looked like crap prior to Kenny's work. Turn around time was fast. Kenny does a great job well worth the money.

^ major improvement . Nice work .
Nothing but black yesterday. Satin black ceramic and a sweet turbo set up for some guy with a green car. BTW Jimmy did some really sweet work on the crossover, once again top notch work. Then some mirror black and tuscan matte black Busa parts for some guy who's into s&m, what a freak:lol:

Hey Kenny, just how much black do you have to keep on hand...that's alot of black.
I have about 70lbs of different blacks on hand
I thought that crossover pipe and brackets looked familiar lol.
That is some clean work Jim.
Man i gotta say everytime i look at this thread and see what you have done makes me want to go through all my stuff and see what i can have you powder coat. Simply amazing.
Today we have a paintball gun in red stardust and solar rain, a toyota v/c in S&S wrinkle black, some jeep bumpers in bonded black chrome, chevy ls v/c's in candy red over mirror silver sparkle and a subi intake in wrinkle red

Isn't that intake supposed to be pink to be legit JDM? ;)
The photo on the Scoob intake looks weird, like the powder didn't lay on it all. Is there sparkle in that?
The intake looks funny because he picked up at nearly 1am and I snapped a quick pic but on the wrong settings and then tried to adjust the color to make it look right. In person it looked really good
In honor of football season we have a little orange and black for you, actually just a complete coincidence. First is a quad bumper in mirror orange. Then we have some go fast car parts in more mirror orange and a dash in carbide black. Then we have a dinky turbo setup in mirror black and finally a Subi pipe in satin ceramic black.

That orange is tight! Gonna go broke coating shit now!!
Wow, whats that bumper going on? Been thinking about adding some color to my replacement atv plans in the upcoming months. Have you tried translucent orange or copper over silver vein?
The bumper is going on a KTM race quad. I do have some jollypop copper here (candy copper). It will be fairly dark over silver vein. I can get other oranges or coppers but be warned orange/copper transparent color are the most difficult of all colors to work with. Here is a pic of it over chrome. BTW what kind of replacement quad did you get?

Hmmm thinking maybe the copper over silver vein, wanting it to be fairly dark. What would it take for you to shoot me a test piece if you already have those powders laying around, can sent you the funds. Havent definitely gotten anything yet but I am trying to pick up another Z400 frame thats already been professionally gussetted. I already had plans to build one at some point and had been slowly collected parts, guess my plans are just expedited some. Gonna build it completely from ground up with all the best parts for local hare scrambles and GNCC racing. I really like the LTZ platform, right size for my frame being 5'10" and 145lbs fully geared.
So wish you werent 2hrs away Kenny, would have you all kinds of business with the guys I ride with. I have a riding buddy's bike tore down right now, trying to blast the frame in my back yard just so I can paint it and back together quickly. He doesnt want to wait for me to run there and back, that extra week is too much for him lol.
Let me know when you are getting close and I will get you a sample worked up. Lot of fun stripping that frame isnt it, quad frames suck to strip. Youll now why they arent cheap to coat. Btw ill need to see a pic of the bumper to give you a price but for reference the orange one was $40 for a single coat
Sounds good. Yeah this thing definitely sucks to strip, all the small corners. The bumper is just like the orange one, but im want it done it a fine texture black. What I want to try the color on is the swinger, upper a arms, stem, air box, and a few other small parts. Cant decide completely on the color scheme, try a color or do gloss white. Seems to be the only thing on my build plans I cant decide about.
Have you ever done a brake master cylinder. If I can take this thing apart. I will also have a few brackets that will need some PC. What would you charge for master cylinder? Black
Are talking the all metal m/c or tbe type with the plastic part yhat holds the fluid with just a metal base?
It's all metal, the older cast iron parts.
How hot do the parts get when you bake them? I figured I would need to disassembly it because of the seals.
I bake at 400deg for most powders and yes the seals would need removed. I would say $40 for the lid and m/c.
Not hard to stick, candy copper is just really hard to get even
Thats some good looking work you're doing Kenny! When I get back from this hell hole I want to get you to do some stuff on my racecar and my truck.
No problem Kris, you know where to find me. How much longer you have over there?
for some reason , i'm thinking that copper would look sweet with the kona blue
Candies are not easy to do, candies on a quad frame can be a nightmare:eek: Not to toot my own horn but this frame came out absolutely amazing. In the sun it just look drop dead sexy. It is candy red over mirror silver sparkle. I just wish I could make it look as good in pics as it does in person.
