Just in case anyone is interested I just placed an order for a bunch more powder. I've got more wrinkle black coming, some candy red, black chrome, silver vein, deep blue metallic, deep burgandy mettallic, dark volvo gray metallic which should be a great for someone who wants wheels in a dk gray and solar rain which will be the first one I shoot. It should amazing over chrome or polished pieces.
For anyone that I have given a quote to, I will take 20% off of it from now till Jan 1st. It's time to get the BIG oven so let contact me if interested. Thanks.
Some old trailer wheels I did yesterday.

how did the rubber stand up in the oven?
I need to get you those rims. The centers I had you do are awesome. And those rims need done.
And your car is bad ass.
I just quickly looked at the rubber and it seemed to hold up fine. However it was still hot when I took the pics so I did not inspect it real close. I'm headed out the door now and will look at them a little closer later.
not sure what the baking temp is but you have to get the brakes really hot to screw with the seals and dust boots.
thinking over 500deg. to melt the seals
Thanks Andy, I'm ready whenever you are.Quote:

Curing temp is 400deg. It appears that the dust boot may have suffered some very slight damage, not enought that I wouldn't still use it but to be honest it could have already been that way. I'm sure these have never been rebuilt so it means the rubber is around 20 years old. Rebuild kits are cheap enough.Quote:

still gonna have you do those valve covers lol.
That reminds me Kenny... I have some PBR calipers I will have you do in time. Not sure what color yet.
Got any Dark Ford Blue-looking colors?
I so cannot wait till we start sending pieces your way!! That looks great.
[/QUOTE]Your practically down the street, bring them on over.Quote:

I just got a dark blue metallic, if that don't work I'm sure I can get exactly what you want.Quote:

No Jesse this is a dk blue w/ some metallic in it.
How much of a pain would it be to Two-Tone an RPM 2 intake? I want the lower and runners a natural silver and the throttle body area on up around the drivers side satin black. Kinda hard to explain! Basically the v shaped part would be black.

Hey Leroy it wouldn't be too bad. Did you want to keep the Edelbrock lettering and the triangular stripes on the upper part silver too? I have both colors here so if you whenever you want it done just let me know.
Actually I am machining all of the lettering and lines off. Going to make it completely smooth across the top. I am getting a list together of all the parts I want to do. I have to make it worth my time for the 2 hour trip! I will get ahold of you :bigthumb
Thats one intake I actually like all the design on. Just bring me the whole engine, I take it apart piece by piece and do the whole thing. Let me know when your ready maybe we can work something out on meeting somewhere. Thanks.Quote:

Here is a throttle body I did today. I did not mask any of it off as I knew it would never get used again. The bearing in for the throttle blades held up fine. It is deep blue metallic. The first pic makes it look a little brighter than it is the second pic makes it look a little darker.

Ill have some 2v covers I need done in the "polished" look. Hopefully your Coupe is ready to fire tomorrow and you can pick em up when you come up.:D
I'll call you in the morning Craig.
Here is a pic of that tb in the sun you can see what it actually looks like. Hard to see the metallic in it but I think it is a really nice color.

I saw this color and thought I would see how well it matches up to the Ford wrinkle blue on the Aluminator valve covers. Here is a link to what they sell for on a set of 3v covers http://www.ninosport.com/Ford-Racing...ang-M-6582-3VB I'm gonna take it up to Cincy Speed and sit it next to one of the actual covers so I can see how well it actually matches, I'll get a pic when I do. This color is not a true wrinkle but has a texture to it which you can kinda see. Sorry for the really big pics I just thought it would make it easier to see the texture it has.

Oh yea, daddy likey!
god you do alot of powdercoating! looks great though man!!!
Well I knew the blue was a little off the Aluminator wrinkle but in person it is no where near close enough. However it does look real close to the ford blue rattle can paint on another engine I have laying around. If anyone is seriously interested in wanting to do some stuff in the wrinkle blue I'll find one that is a match. Thanks Ryan, I have a bunch more colors here I have not even shown yet so keep checking back there are lots of cool things to come.
i bet there will be. soon i will start working a new job where i will finally get some hours so ill have money and i will be looking to have a few things done!
everything looks great, must see pics when completed
Well between holiday stuff and getting strep I havn't done anything at all until today. Here is a set of 5.0 valve covers done in silver vein, I was real pleased with how this color looks. The bracket is done in Candy Red over a chrome base and it turned out SMOOOOOTH. It is a color that also work well over powder chrome, polished aluminum or a spakly silver. Enjoy.

wow that looks great
id like to have a set of pony wheels done black .. can you do that ???
I have to come by and check out the candy red. That looks like it woudl be sweet for my intake, front cover, and valve covers on my 4V project.
oh i so canNOT wait!! have you started powder coating household things yet?! :D
Funny you say that, I was just talking to the wife the other day about doing some of the plain jane brass light fixtures we have. I was also going to redo the base for our deck umbrella come spring. The possibilities are endless, I can powder just about anything that can take 350-400deg temps.Quote:
