Off Friday? Looks like good weather Friday also and I should be at Edgewater. Ran last Friday but fuel pumps couldn't keep up even on low boost, no timing, and shifting early. Magnafuel 4303 arrived today so I will have it on and back out Friday.Quote:

Well Ill be waiting on parts now. Was driving up and fuel pump took a shit... Just cruising along and it died. Pounded on the pump and got it running enough to get it on the trailer. Still went up and watched with Setty but it was to damn cold so I left. Gonna be a struggle to get it done now for the cruise in...

Ive been told you're not suppose let e85 sit more than a couple of weld. If you have to sit longer mix it with 93.
Im about to have it tuned back on 93 to avoid the problems! It just sucks to lose the power that is available with it and the price. But with me having to drive 25 miles one way to get E85, its almost worth it.
Ive heard mixed reviews on letting it sit but Im with you. I think over time it does gel up and get nasty. Just from what I have seen in my pump.
Brian, I ran E85 for 2 years, letting my car sit in an unheated garage the whole time and never had but one issue with the fuel system. That one problem was the filters clogged after running E85 for a while. I cleaned them out and never had another issue. It cleaned grease, hair, oil, and a bunch of unidentified shit out of my tank, lol. Keep checking your filters, especially the pre-filter.Quote:
