I'm hoping so. I've only hood good things about them. I'll still be keeping my fingers crossed every time I'm on the brake!

Thanks to the guys up at the swap who found me some aeromotive fuel rails, for a very good price.

Last night I found a great deal on a LARGE fuel cell with foam and sending unit, so I picked it up. I'm looking into submerging a fuel pump inside for the cooling benefits on a street car, not to mention quieting it down considerably.

Also got a MarkVIII fan in the mail from a guy on the corral, these things move some serious air!

Brian came out last night and we took out the dash. Its now ready for the cage (thats a week late), we also finished clearing the engine bay.

Took out the heater box, I was surprised that thing weights 22#'s. It sure can't hurt taking the weight out of the front half of the car.

Thanks to Chad for the Accufab 80mm race t/b!

Picked up the cage today and got it home.

Also got the strange rear coilovers in the mail.

This is a neat little gadget that has self contained relays, this should make for a clean install and help keep from a wiring nightmare. I believe they're rated at 40 or 50 amps per circuit. Great for fuel pumps/trans break/ line lock/ electric fans.

Ok, here's where I'm at now. Rear coilover support and minitubs have been shipped as well as offset lower control arms. I'm going to work a little each night and see if I can get this stuff done by the weekend, but that might be a stretch. Then off for the cage install!
Came home today to find some goodies, busted them open and tacked in the coilover support bar.

Offset lowers, no spring perch.

Rearend coilover bracket. Once the rearend is in place, I'll place the tabs for the sway bar and shocks.

Car leaves for the cage install on Saturday of next week!
Finally some real progress is near
Nice to see you're making some good progress Rick. :bigthumb I tried calling you earlier today so I could come and check things out. If you're going to be out in the garage tomorrow give me a call. Lata.
Well, after a boat load of difficulties Brian and I got the motor and transmission in the car tonight. The tranny mount hasn't been modified yet and rearend isn't in the car, but I have to say these following pictures sure brought a smile to my face! Before I go any further, I'd like to say thanks to TZ250 from the boards, he helped me with my intake that needed milled yesterday and busted it out while I ran an errand. He's also the guy who made my "turbocharged 383" emblem for my intake! :bigthumb:
Ok, here's some PROGRESS pics...lol

Here's my boy giving me a hand. Guess who's going to be helping him put his car back together? lol

This one damn near brought a tear to my eye!

Gonna need about a 1/4 inch taken off the intake spacer for a perfect fit under the little cowl hood.

Flaming river rack should be here tomorrow. The motor is sitting 1-3/4" low and 1" back, and it looks like its going to fit perfectly!

I'd also like to mention that the TH400 fit straight in with this engine placement without touching anything in the floor pan / tunnel. I really think this swap is hard to beat!
Damn guys nice work I think I might start throwing my junk together this weekend.
Looks Good!
