jason you should have came out ... we ran all the runs we wanted ... the track was hooking something fierce ... shannon broke his axle housing, but after he ran his personal best 11.74 ... we were pulling 1.54's and thats something i dont do very often ...

so few cars showed up, they gave us a rain check ... we get to race next weekend for free ... it was a good day :bigthumb

It was brackets but because no one shows they did open track then called it and gave us all rain checks

All yea...Beef take the Flamer off the list it broke the center section of the rear end in half...not the tubes...never seen that before...big thanks to Adam for already hooking me up on a replacement. It had a .6x in it today but the rear end did not agree. Lol...at least I did beat my best with a 11.740

Unless they have a running of the dozen u can take me off the list because I can't attend the cruisins on weekends because I work almost every sat and all Sundays. I don't want to keep another car off knowing I will get kicked off because I'm not a participant. Lmk ifthey are having an event. I heard from Chad393 that tristate sucks bad so I won't be going there. Thanks Kevin

i went a 1.535 60 ft there last saturday, best ever ... shannon hit a 1.540 ... its not all that bad ... just watch the dips :lol:

Tristate doesn't always suck, I have going there for years. It's just that its hit or miss going there. Two weeks ago I launched and spun like I was still in the water box. But i've also cut mid 1.4s there too. Kilkare ALWAYS hooks.

I have pulled low 1.9's on street tires at kilcare, i agree with chad tri state is a hit or miss kinda deal but when its on its on

So are they going to have N event at kikare. It would be cool to see evryone there for sure.

Since there were a shit load of Dayton Stangs that rolled down for the cruise in, I think there should be a shit load of southern stangs to roll up to KK for a lil dozen shoot out. But Im guessing they dont have a hair on their balls to drive up to KK and race. Ive seen quite a few drive down to TriState and bust off numbers and drive home. But no one to drive north, race and return south...unless on a trailer. (Myself included) I guess its easier to set the number one, then put that Stang to pasture and sit on your ass with some lower ET having Stang. #YAWN#

As far as DOTs. I think ALL of the dozen this year are running on DOTs. Not sure thou:confused: So if any of the southern Stangs come up and run KK, are you northern DDs gonna come south and run TS?

I remember back in the day I drove mine to the track, clicked off some 9.60s and drove it home. I didnt own a trailer then, Then on saturday night drove to middletown, and beat the crap out of it all the way home. Good ole days

I remember one of those nights...."running of the ponys" Great turnout and it was cool to see alot of sub 10 second Stangs driving (and racing...or it atleast LOOKED like they were racing, but that is illegal, so they probably werent racing, more trying to aggressivly merg into traffic) on the street.:)

Wish I did...on our first dive yesterday we saw 5-6 eagle rays...on the 2nd we saw a huge loggerhead turtle. It was actually a little cool here yesterday for the locals...only 78-80*....today is suppost to be 84*.

I have ran kil kare alot this year and will be there tomorrow . personly think its stupid to drive a hour and a half north with out a trailer when you know your going to be racing and breaking stuff . (guess im getting smarter in my old age ha ha ) . Back before i had a trailer i would drive my car evey week to the track then break and spend hours looking for a ride home . Now you will not see me at a track with out it . Now i can drive it to the track and bust off low 9s hiigh 8s on radials just to prove a point . But that also seems stupid . You always have the trailer and no trailer talk every year usally by people that dont own them or slower cars wanting to stay on the list . Remember its all about getting toghter and racing not how you got there . Alot of the fast guys stayed off the list this year because of all the whining and i think thats a shame . The list got slow but the bitching stayed . I have been at every dozen shot out and will be at lots more .Its about hanging out with friends and "helping your brother out " not push them down . I love getting eveyone out for a good cruz though !! gets real fun about 2 am when the racing starts :bigthumb

I wouldn't go without a trailer either if I were going that far. I will be out there tomorrow also maybe be could meet. I have a black gt. Come chat for a few. can't wai to see how many guys are there. Should be nice and cool.
