Can't believe I forgot this, but I also would like to thank mr mustang 46, larry for the tow. He took the time to make sure the car didn't get damaged, and thats something no AAA driver would have done.:bigthumb

It was a lot of fun, even if I didn't qualify for Quick32 I got out on the first round of Street Heat and I busted my exhaust that now sounds like a beat up Chevy truck! There were some great races and it was great catching up with every one as always! If nothing else, I we may have discovered Craig secretly desires a future in broadcasting!
Yeah, I had a blast! I broke my dial in the first round by over half a second!
At least I ran better than the last time I went to the track. I need slicks!!!
So what was the times to beat to have made the quick32? We were going to bring a camero but it would have run n/a and the guy didn't think it would've made the field?
i think the cutoff was 12.375 ...
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
You are the man Craig. Great job on the mic and great event. Hope it was worth all the effort so you will do it again.
Keith
Fantastic day!! Appreciate all the work it took to organize and put on such a great event. Great to meet some new peeople and catch up with old friends! :bigthumb
Just missed the Q32, good thing too. I only got to spray the first run and then....nothing. I would have been slaughtered first round but, got into the other bracket and made 3 rounds. Had alot fun.
Thanks Craig,Jason and whoever else helped to put this together. I had a blast and actually made it 4 rounds and then that yellow camaro that was disqualified for not showing up for the next round of eliminations mysteriously appeared. And low and behold he beat me but I still had a great time. Does anyone know how many cars ran in the street bash?
We had a great time today. Family, friends, food and racing. What more could a girl ask for?! (maybe hercar to be done);)
Hubby was happy. Best run ever out of his car.
Thanks guys!!
Thanks Craig for putting on a great event. My car was having some serious issues with the cog belt, But it was still the most fun I've had at a race track in a long time. I enjoyed making new friends, and spending time with old ones.
Thanks Craig. I had a great time even though I lost in the 1st round. I was trying to build boost while prestaged but the car pushed through into the stage lights. Oh well, it was a great time and I got my 9 second pass later on in the day:bigthumb It was also cool that the Buicks that I got there ran good too. The one even had the fastest et and mph:)
60+ in Street Heat
42/43 in Q32
I was very happy with the turnout...YOU GUYS DID GOOD!!:bigthumb
I think the Vinny5oh quick 32 turned out GREAT!! There were ALL kinds of cars represented. Vinny was always about the people, not the cars. (He just happened to have a Stang :D ) I can only imagine the airwaves if I wouldve had him in the tower with me!!
I think we did him proud on Saturday. :)
Great time....even if Bumble-bee did knock me out of the Q-32 in the first round. :bigthumb
Now if my stiff neck and sunburnt forehead would go away. :(
Sounds like everyone had a great time! Im jealous! Sorry I didn't make it out...with not having the cobra back now pushing 6 months...I don't even care to be around it...just frustrates me worse. I have a few potential buyers on the coupe..& decided to not beat on it until a sale is either yea or nea.
I had such high hopes for 07'..BES motor, G Force G5R, Rigid Racecar, mini tubs, strange brakes, Fab 9", star flange axles, alumastar wheels......etc, etc, etc...World Ford, NMRA, Indy UMTRs, Stick Shift Nationals, Powerfest...No, No, No, No...Whats left?....Bowling Green before snow flies??...Who knows...08' I guess
Congrats to Craig & everyone who put on a successful event!!
