I went a 9.20 @ 147 last thursday at kilkare. Just a little turbo mustang. Jason408, MFoss, yougotjunk, and Metcalf Racing were all there and witnessed it.

That's where you are wrong young Grasshopper !!! If you read the rules, you will clearly see that some of the requirements are, Regular poster ( Not 13 posts in 3 years) Must attend the cruise and other SBZ events !!!

I know that they have denied people in the past from being on the list for these reasons, And it wouldn't be fair to the regular members of the board for a 1 post wonder to take the top spot !!! Just my $.02 But I believe we will have some pissed off people that have been active members to allow it to happen !!!

Besides I think Jason408 will end up on top if he runs it out the back door. I saw him make a 9.3X pass last week after letting out of it just past the 1/8th.

Just out of curiosity, if I get my pile out this year for a couple passes (just need a tune) does it go on the list automatically? I post regularly, I drove it to the fall cruise, but I didn't get the car done in time to race all year. I'm just asking because I wouldnt want to bump a guy off who's been racing/participating all year.

You need to get it down here so we can get it tuned, then take it up to KK this Thursday.:)

wow are you serious? he has been to meets. he has been building the car for a long time. he just had a kid this year and i'm sure he has been busy with the family life rather than to go to all the meets and hang out. he barely has enough time to go to the track with a new edition to the family. but i guess thats cool though if you want too take away from his hard work,blood,sweat,tears and tons of money put into it. :rolleyes:

You are correct. The rules in general are to bring the car to an event / cruise ins and be a participating member of the board. If you don't post alot, but make a ton of events thats good. If you can only hang out a little bit but post alot, thats good. If your not doing either, your not going to make it on the list.

It doesn't automatically go to the list, you actually have to run a time that qualifies lol ;) . I'm seeing over 3k posts, and the car has been to the cruise in, it does qualify. If it runs the # to qualify.

I don't wanna fight about it because that's all that seems to happen. I seen his car at KK twice and tristate 3 times. So its really not a one hit wonder. Really did everyone one on the list attend the cruise in or is it just protecting the number one spot. Its not a big deal anyway since paul banned him for a week anyway. But he has been a member for several years and makes posts from time to time. He's a good friend of mine that's why I'm a little salty. But its no big deal Craig must have been right when he told me its a populaity contest. I'm done ranting carry on

posts from time to time, so a member for years and 13 posts? so a post every 3 months or so, "participating member"

it's not a popularity contest. it's funny every year at the end of the year, someone that never posted or attended the cruise comes on and wants to be on the list, and every year their friends whine it's a popularity contest, and every year we have to say the same thing.

again, not true, 2 years ago, flying2 came on here and posted a time same thing, he hadn't been a participating member, and in the end he wouldn't have gotten the 12 spot, but his time got bumped so it didn't matter,

he was told, be active and you have no problem getting on the list, he's been active and now he's on the list, same thing, his friends whined that it was popularity, well now he's on the list

i don't care if the car in question made 30 trips out this year to the track, if it isn't attending stangbanger events and the person isn't posting on stangbangerz, it's real simple. he's not a stangbanger, well, i take it back, he's not a participating member.

get over it.

as far as end time, there has been nothing but rain for the last 3 or 4 weeks. the tracks are open a couple more weeks, so we'll run a couple more weeks. hardly anyone has had a chance to get their cars out

my other puter is loading windows 7, when it's done i'll get the list updated

as a matter of fact stocknotch/smack was at tristate when everybody was there for running of the dozen. so does he qualify? that is a meet....
