Looks like Ill be diving into the actual wiring of the main harness to the Ford control harness, so thats going to be fun. I have some few other things left to do, but its slowly getting there. :)
Very strange to see tan carpet in the trunk of a mustang
That's the luxury edition!
Damn that thing looks Great !!!

Are you out of shape? Havent worked out in forever? Over weight and just been a lazy SOB?!? Well then, get yourself a Project Car!!!
With a Project car, you will gain the physical prowess and mental fortitude you have been missing!!
You will stretch, bend, squat and contort your fat sloppy ass all over, around and under your project car!!
Looking to loosen a bolt & nut underneath the dash? Project Car will mess with your mind and have you getting up, out and back and forth to the tool box....100 TIMES!!!
Yes friend, you read that right....100 TIMES for a 1/2 bolt that you thought was a 12mm, then 7/16, then 13mm, then a 14 mm!! Yes Project Car will have you at wits end at some point, but then ease up just enough, to where you want to keep kicking yourself in the Dick over and over AND OVER AGAIN!!!
Butch from KY, says about his Project Car...
"When I was working on my Project Car, I didnt want to sleep. I felt this Force pulling and telling me to throw all my Money and Time at it!! Hell, my wife finally snapped and gave me a deadline for my Project car and after 3 years, I sold my beloved Project Car"
Poor Butch, lets see what Thomas has to say...
Thomas from Florida...
"Project car?! Yeah Fuck that thing!! It nearly drove me Fuckin Nuts!! I was staying awake every night searching the interwebs for a GAWD DAMN TAN Flugle binder for the lower control arm return spring! Do you realize that there were only 2 ever made?? My Wife left me, my kids dont recognize me anymore and Im now down here in FLorida slumming with my fellow Project Car rejects. Project Car, Go Fuck yourself!!"
Wow. Thomas obviously got the WRONG Project Car.
Friend Im here to tell you, YOU are NOT those guys! YOU WILL get your Project car done!! You WILL (one day) be able to turn the key of your Project car and take your whole family out for a drive!! It will wrap itself around your since of desire to have the BEST Project car ever!! You'll loose weight, friends, family, time and enjoy years and years of Project car Bliss!! Just imagine yourself pulling into your favorite cruise in or local drag strip with your very own Project car!!
The praise from people you dont know will all be worth it!
So Friend, the time is NOW! Your Future Project car is a only a 24 hour trip to the hills of Nowheresville USA to rescue your Project car from years sitting out in a filed, underneath an oak tree, basking in all its glory!!
Rusty Floors?? HA! No match for you!!
Missing 99% of everything?? NO WORRIES!! You are an expert at searching the Internet!!
Multiple Engine combos?? YES SIR!! With Project car, you WILL change your mind 100 times and only lose a little bit of money doing so!
Tired and frustrated with Project car?? It happens. BUT, only 10 out of 11 people do not finish their Project car and end up selling it to a Friend.
Project car is YOUR Future! You are standing on the cliff of AWESOMNESS and we are here to kick you over it!! Look down there at it...Its waiting for you! It NEEDS you!! YOU WILL FINISH IT!!! YOU GOT THIS!!!!
*Sped up announcers voice...
To get your very own Project Car, just send $10000000 to some local Craiglist seller after looking at some blurry pics and he will watch you as you load Project car onto your buddies borrowed trailer. Once you get it home, Project Car will quietly nestle itself into the depths of your garage floor and one day (Not saying which day if any) will see the light of day again. It might or will be used as a shelf, a workbench, saw horse, engine stand, play toy for the kids, a Rat, Bird or Mouse nests. But it will DEFINITELY suc ENJOY all the money you throw at it and suck the life out FULFILL your life!!
On a separate note, did you guys see that Notch in the Charlotte North Carolina Craigslist? Its freakin sweet and only needs a few things....
LOL
Got some work done in the garage this weekend.
Getting all this to work together should be fun.

Found an old Ford wiring book for the 84 Mustang, so its going to be a huge help.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7865/...9ca8454d_b.jpg
Ill have to figure out the Speed sensor to Tremec, so that the Speedo actually works.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7899/...9ee6cb1c_b.jpg
I removed the dash so that I could run wires and hook up connectors easier.

Notice the custom, one off, Hyd clutch pedal assembly.

Started running the wires
https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4824/...6e4fe020_b.jpg
Once I get the ECM mounted, all this will clean up.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7881/...100fcdd8_b.jpg
Mounted the fuse block and re-used a factor grommet & Hole to run the "in Car" wires into the interior.

After a productive weekend, I now have a list of needed parts to get ordered up. Hopefully that small glimmer, is the light at the end of this tunnel...
Which track?
Which track and what kind of format? Dial in? Heads up?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LOL at dial in
Index then maybe? Which is a fixed dial for everybody. Anyway curious about the event and venue. I would like to hear more.
I run dial in races nearly every weekend. They are Not that bad. You just have to be fast on the tree and be consistent. Hit a consistent launch and your shift points. I also enjoy heads up racing. Each has a time and purpose. My favorite is index racing. A good mix of both disciplines.

Needs to be heads up small tire street car! Lol
Seems like that light, down that tunnel, is getting brighter as these productive days continue!
Im waiting on my JLT CAI to arrive so that I can get this buttoned up. Alternator wire needs to be run to the battery, but then under here is done.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7862/...cea22c34_b.jpg
Fuel lines and all the other sensors are hooked up and ready to go.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7863/...8ba50857_b.jpg
I had to source a different lower rad hose, but with a little trimming, it worked. Black Magic 3300cfm electric fan has been my go to for all my projects, so hopefully Ill have the same results.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7825/...fc11bf94_b.jpg
ECM mounted down and out of the way.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7905/...d1bfc088_b.jpg
Fuel Regulator mounted on the pass side front timing cover.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7925/...397b932e_b.jpg
Hopefully Ill have more progress pics as I have more parts coming in later on in the week.
Thanks for tuning in. :D
wiring job is on point. looks great Craig :bigthumb
That looks like it belongs in there! Nice work!
Thanks! Taking a little more time now, yields better results later.
Got the JLT installed and it looks better that I thought.

https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7834/...1421cc68_b.jpg
This is getting closer everyday that I have a chance to work on it. Last night I installed the JLT and installed an engine diaper over the oil pan. No big deal, however, If you ever decide to install an engine diaper, do it BEFORE you install the engine into the engine compartment! It was a freakin PITA!!
:)
Looking fantastic, the covers conceal a lot for that fresh clean feeling/look. haha
Man that looks so clean.
Wow! Looks like it rolled out of the factory that way. :jawdrop:
Almost done under here. I still need to run the factory harness to the headlights, turn signals, etc and then tie it into the Ford control pack, but this is a snap shot of how it will look.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7905/...c7ac7095_k.jpg
Still quite a few things left to do, but its motivating to see more items crossed off.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7878/...e2df5a7d_k.jpg
Still on the fence with the tan in the trunk, but once the connections are made to the battery, its done back here.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7876/...0a32a939_k.jpg
Almost time to roll it off the lift so I can kick open the doors and get everything wired up on the inside and seats & carpet installed. So close, yet still a lot to do...
Looking super clean! The attention to detail is awesome!
Im hoping that everyone had a Great Easter!
Once my family stuff was done, I had some productive garage time!
I swear the Mustang Loves this lift. Everytime I think its time to come off, "one more thing" shows up on my to do list.
https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...9798f76e_k.jpg
However, I was FINALLY able to roll it forward and get to the inside and run some wires! Now it still looks like a Spaghetti factory blew up in the interior, but these lights probably have not been on for 10 years, so Im making progress!

Sweet
DR....Have we got a heartbeat?
