ok, just skimmed thru all 9 pages........trying to get an idea of location......
71S to US127/Glencoe exit?
Reason I ask I might have a tranny from Lville to pick up.
ill be there might bring a friend
Ok. Well my wife probably threw out my directions that I had so I am going to do this from memory.
From the river Take 71/75 South. When you get to the split, stay on 71 south. Follow till exit 62 Owenton/Glenco. Turn Left.
Go till it t-bones and turn Left.
Go about 2.5 miles and make a Right on 36/New Liberty something or another.
Stay on this road for a while. You will go through the town of New Liberty. Keep going till you come to a miniature Horse farm. It is called Liberty Farms or something like that. Make a Left there.
Follow to the bottom of the hill, you will know it, and make a right on Big twin Creek Rd.
Follow till you come to a hard left turn then over a bridge. In a mile or so after a "canopy of trees" Make a left into my father's property.
I had Dave Black Horse make me up some signs that look killer. They are of a Dirty Bird pointing the way. At every turn, look for the dirty Bird.
I am going down to the farm Friday afternoon to set some stuff up and maybe cut the grass in areas that is needed. On Saturday, I am planning on leaving my house/shop before Noon so if anyone wants to meet up and drive down, be at my shop before noon on Saturday.

What was the final decision on food? I know it's a guy thing and y'all probably don't really care, but it seemed like Keith was bringing everything. Any relevant thoughts?
I think I am going to pick up a sandwich tray. Kevin has a place right next to his work and will pick it up for me. Nothing huge, finger sandwichs. I will bring that plus some dogs and buns. Basset hound sound good? Just kidding. Poodle is better.LOL
Really, bring down what ever. I will have a few cases of bottled water in the fridge, a 30 pack of keyrock, or 2,
Someone bring some marshmallows for roasting over the fire.
Keith

Marshmallows? WTF DUDE? are we going to sing kumbaya later on after you guys kill everything thats not moving?
Marshmallows sheesh.
BTW I ordered the sandwich tray today.

Egad, popped a HG on the Honda yesterday, dunno about long trips right now.
I need to let off some steam........because there wasn't any left in the Civic!!!!!
Just to make it very clear, there are NO sheep on the farm. You may spot some on the way down but no touchy. People are just as crazy as me down there.
Keith
If I woulda known it was gonna be this kinda party, I'd stick my d!*k in the mashed potatos!!! LOL Keith I am going to need something to snuggle with and if it comes down to Dave's hairy inferno, .......... I'm stealing a sheep!
do you fell warm and fuzzy all over? ya want to?
I stopped by my Dad's house tonight just to say hey and wound up going to the loading room and loading up about 25 rounds of flechette 12 guage. He is also letting me borrow his 9mm pistol, he gave me another 100 or so rounds for my ak-47, plus he gave me 250 rounds of 12 guage "normal" rounds. That should make the party a little better. If you have never heard of flechettes, they are little spikes with fins on the ends. We put 30 of them in each round. They are not the most legal thing so we have to shoot em all at the farm.
He also offered me his M1 Garrand to bring down. I said I would think about it. What do you all think? Should I grab it? It kicks like a mule but it is powerful and accurate.
Keith
I've not decide what to bring......
One blown HG, car did fine today on 130 mile route, used just over a quart of water.....
....not much for a V8, but my whole cooling system only holds a gallon!
I'll have to see what ammo I wish to expend. Likely some 30/30, S&W 686, 10/22 tack driver....Glock and Ruger :)
