Hey everyone this is Chad's wife. He has been sick and off of work for the last couple weeks. Was found out that he had diverticulitis and diverticulosis, blood in his stool last night there was no stool just blood and the his stomach pain was unbearable. He has to have have more tests tomorrow to determine what else is going on, god i hope this turns out ok :(

My father kinda had the same thing before he passed away...but that's not what killed him...not that I'm trying to create panic. But he had an ulcer that bled and somehow passed through a hole in his intestines, so when he went to the bathroom all he would get is blood and no stools.
Is the blood dark or bright red ? If it's dark that tells me the blood is staying backed up somewhere and not passing through quickly and would smell very badly.
I hope everything works out for the better.
