I know I am. I also know a few other's who have come to the shop looking to get a little faster. I am going to have my car on the list come hell or high water. I want that #1 spot Tony! Don't get too comfortable! We need a crown or some symbol to pass from one person to the next who sits at #1, jmho. Let's start the smack!
I'll be out in something! Eclipse is still here and just rolled a coupe into the garage!
I'll be back out come spring in the Cobra. Hopefully with more power and less weight. Gonna up the boost some and add some spray and see where it goes from there.
On another thought, is there any stickers or anything going to be done for this year's?
Hope to be on the bottom of the list... doubt it though, There are a lot of fast cars on this board.
Id like to be there. Hopefully with twice the power I had this year.
I'm looking to step it up a bit, not sure about #1 but surely the top 5. The tare down and rebuild has already begun.
Once again, I propose a Pro Tree light with a N/T format?
I'm pretty certain the white paint on the 2014 will pick up a 10th or two over the green paint. So looking forward to getting the most from the 2013 setup after its bolted on the 2014 A6 setup and retuned by VMP tuning. Got some other mods as well to help get power to the ground.
I plan on not being in the bottom of the list.
Well I need some good luck rubbed on me from somebody so I can get mine finally down the track to get on the list.
I might have something v8 powered so you guys don't pick om the 4 cylinder.
I hamstrung myself last year trying to lean on pump gas. I picked up a crank trigger, LS coils and 2 knock sensors. I'm putting it on E85 and starting at 20#s of boost.

My new short-block should be here in December.. Going to add some suspension parts, lighten it up some and look for around 1100 hp to the wheels. I see no reason why I can't run close to 8.50 next year. So it should be fun trying to hold onto the new spot. And like always, I will be driving it too and from the track..... with AC. I am definitely looking forward to trying to hold off the pack.
This is getting intense already and it hasn't been but a few weeks, I like it!
I have no idea what to expect out of mine. It will be an 11.5:1 short block with TFS-R heads, custom cams, ported Vic Jr. Novi 2000, giant headers, 3" exhaust, yada yada yada on E85. It should make every bit of 650 without breaking a sweat and the blower should support 800-825 to the wheels.

That about what mine is now! Makes the power to run 9's but it just hasn't done it yet!
The Kit I bought is fitted with a waste gate and manual boost controller, so the plan is to spin the blower to max impeller speed at 7,000 RPM and we will adjust the boost to me the my needs without windowing the block. If it lives I'll be be putting together a big bore stroker and possible a bigger blower ( YSI or Novi 2500).
I guess if it doesn't live I'll still be doing the same.
