I'm hoping to finally build the theater media built in the basement this year. Been wanting to do this for two years. I have a theater system I the living room but it isn't setup to its full potential. Plan on mounting a 75" flat screen and have primary seating for four down there.
As for the car...it's a 17 and a turd. Just not all that interested in doing anything to it. Just lost the love after selling the 14.
So no mustang goals for 2020? Dang. Who else??
My goals are to get my engine done and my car to the chassis shop by the end of the year.
I’m looking to slow things down. :cool1:
New engine, blower, fuel system, clutch, holley+10" screen, 11" square ccw classics with 315 tires front and rear, wide flares on all 4 corners. So I guess I'm making a few changes.
To have mine running/driving in time for the Running of the Dozen kick off. Hi-mid 9s on 10psi and I'd be happy.
Once the Nova is back together, Ill have to see if I have any funds left for the Mustang.
Drive it more.
junkyard 351 with rings and bearings and an intercooler.
I'm hoping to go under 8.50s.
Take delivery of my 2020 gt500 and get this fox body at least into running shape .
Ill probably leave the black car alone for this year. Just enjoy driving it and beating on it a few times at the track... For this year, then changes will be made.
Red car will probably get faster throughout the year. Continue with the stock block stuff for the first part of the year and then step up to a Dart block and a th400. If all goes well of course.
Spraying it's guts out...
Haha, busted! I can go any less than a 250hp shot.

My goals for 2020 are:
1. New intercooler / radiator / trans cooler along with a welded charge pipe to TB and a bit of hot side / cold side piping redo after an AC delete - in progress now .
2. Rebuild of trans with more and better clutches for forward/reverse since on the transbrake this year and an upgrade of the direct drum along with changing torque converter to a non lockup 258mm unit - in progress
3. Installing a Holley Terminator X Max and 7" digital dash to run the engine and boost control
See what 1 - 3 yields me for the 1st half of race season till the taxes come back the full out on the motor build. The ultimate goal is to be:
1. Low 9's (9.30 or lower) with a build motor and 18 to 22 psi
Going to try and go south to make some passes once 1 & 2 above are done to see what the stock motor and about 11.5psi on the factory ECU get's me. Would love to see a sub 10.30x run at that level.
Switching from racing NMRA to OSCA (Outlaw Street Car Assocation) - closer races and better payouts. They have a race a Kil Kare this year on August 8th.
Will make the Dozen Shootout with my duck. :)
Just enjoy being back in a fox and able to cruise it some. Might see what it has at the track too! Then see where I need to go with it. I unfortunately do not qualify for the dozen though
250 straight six out of a dump truck and a munci rock crusher
I’m just hoping to make more than one pass this year. As soon as my pistons come in my collection of parts is going to the machine shop for a sleeves short locks that wasn’t in the plans for this winter. After the new engine get installed and broken in I’m going to swap out the spec clutch for a Mcloud RXT then a Edelbrock TVS.
Dang, stick/coyote/tvs will be a handful!
Yes sir , my dealership is saying probably a may or June delivery
1) Install the On3 turbo kit and Microsquirt on the 89 GT.
2) Learn how to tune a Microsquirt car
3) Try not to blow it up
Should be a fun car. What size trubo did you go with?
Not bashing the Microsquirt but you might want to consider the Terminator X for the Foxbody, pretty nice unit with a ton of features, only thing I wish it had was the ability to drive low impedance injecotrs. https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...parts/550-937F
I beleive NXcoupe (Mike) is a dealer for them.
Thanks Greg, yes I am, and I can tune megasquirt as I have the licenses for TS and the log viewer too.
The holley terminator X series is set as a direct competitor for the ms and other stand alones in its price range. I'm tuning 2 of those currently, a 65 mustang and a 90 Grand Wagoneer.
