Id say let it ride. With all the racing going on all over anymore, and the ease of access to video, we should be good with it. Just my opinion though.

4) Tracks

Tracks will be opened up to allow board members that travel to other states, and other tracks in Ohio, to be able to use the times from these tracks for the list. We still want at least one SBZ member as a witness for Ets. If no member witnesses the run we will need a way to verify the run as legit (e.g., video, pic of the time slip).

Cincy street nights no prep was a lot of fun. Thanks 2fast4U for the help at the line. Aaron next time buddy :)

Time trial was 1/4 mile but race was 1/8 and i did not make a clean pass. But it gets better from here.

That's still a solid pass! Looks like a great turnout from the pictures. Ill make sure to be at the next one.

Thanks Brian. There were a lot of people there. It got shut down a little early due to rain. But i think all of the classes made it at least to semi finals before the rain set in. Stick Shift finished. True street was down to finals and they split the $. There were no prep kings there making test passes and Boosted GT was competing in small tire. It was a fun evening and lots of good racing.

Yep my buddy Rob Dahms was in the final of True Street in his blue fox and my other friend Matt Ehora in the yellow SN95 lost to boosted GT in small tire.

5.30's was about what they were running that day. He has been faster in his blue fox. Matt in the yellow SN95 has been 5.10's before but he was in small tire.

Yeah, Rob was going 5.30s but the nissan he beat in the semis was going 5.0s. The nissan was a little slow on the tree though. The gtrs take a second to spool and they cant bump in. So he was double bulb staging then spooling. Rob spooled up quick and staged before the gtr was “on the chip” so when it went green Rob got out on him by a couple cars and the gtr was pulling on the big end but just didnt get there. It was a great race and Rob did exactly what he needed to, to beat the fastest car in that field. I would have loved to see Rob and Dave (in the blue nova with white flames) make their passes in the finals but they split the pot.

Good strategies there! I watched the video of all the cars and was a good turnout and they looked fast.

Got you added, apologies for the delay.

Ran at the Holeshot Media drag series today in muncie. They had a heads up stick shift class. I was struggling all day trying to keep the nitrous spraying and never got a full pass. I think i have a faulty throttle position signal wire. Lambo was there and possibly gaston (he was supposed to be there but i never saw him, haha)

Thanks! The nitrous shut off 3 times in that pass including the last 300 ft. I was winning at the 1000 ft by two cars and lost by 1 car. It has some 9s hiding in there once i get it all to come together. Its taking me a little time to get used to the tkx with syncros too. I was running the faceplated tko for 5 years. This one is much nicer on the street though.

Sounds like it will be there before long once you get it straightened out. Probably would have been close on that one if it had worked properly.

Interestingly it runs those numbers on less than i was spraying at a stock lincoln engine. The setup loves the spray. 10.4s is on a 100 shot. Just dont tell walter my secrets. :) the 10.27 was a 200 shot that was only on 1/2 to 2/3 of the pass. It should run 9.80 on a 200 (most i ever sprayed at the old lincoln engine) and do even better as i approach a 300 shot. I will likely move to a procharger in the near future. Especially as nitrous has surpassed $12 per pound at my local sources.

Man that is efficient. I thought you were still playing with the stock Lincolns. I should have looked closer at your sig. Im mostly a wax and buff guy now a days. Walter doesn't hang out much with us old geeks. LOL!

Mercury marauder heads, lincoln block and crank, a little extra compression (10.8:1) but still 281 ci. The cams really wake these 4v engines up. Picked up about 100hp with factory heads, block, crank, and cubes. Mike worked his magic on the heads but i am still impressed with what factory parts can do on the 4v mod engines.

What intake are you running?

sullivan port matched by mike, with a sullivan upper and accufab oval monoblade. The engine, cams and intake are all spec’d for nitrous or blower and 8k rpm. I am a wimp and usually shift by 7500 with an occasional 7700 while in first. That shift happens pretty fast. Haha.

There was alot of us running the 8.60 class in BG. Had a good time. We lost to the same guy. If my tbody hadn't shut off I would have felt better about going out 2nd round
