I have a Cerwin-Vega, #HT-12PWR powered subwoffer. 12" speaker. It's in a black wooden cabinet. Now, it has some kind of a problem-I don't know what it is, but if you'd be interested in trying to fix it, you can have it free.
PM me.

It's going to the curb soon.
I’ll take it.
Great Joe. I hope you can fix it. When it is working, it is fantastic.
Where do you live? I live between Goshen and Milford.

Pm’d...I always liked Cerwin-Vega products. My first set of car subwoofers were mid 80s Cerwin Vegas 10s. Very punchy sounding and efficient subwoofers. If I can’t fix the amp I’ll just replace it. It would make a good garage subwoofer. I keep thinking I need a stereo when I work on my cars.
I even found the owners manual for the sub
I’ll try to make it this upcoming week to get from you.
when do you want to pick up the sub?
If anything changes, I'd be interested in it.
Subwoffer is gone
Probably the plate amp crapped out. My Polk did the same. I sent the amp back to Polk and they fixed it for $80. You can buy new ones for about the same price, but you gotta work out the holes and sealing it up tight.
It was a faulty power switch. Contact needed cleaned. Thank you for not throwing it away. I’ll add this to the garage once I get a receiver for it.
Hey, good for you guy. I had no idea. Hope you get years out of it- it's a good piece.

It sounds very good, scared the family when I turned it up a bit. Thanks again!
Enjoy!
