Looking good Greg.
Looking good greg....hope to see you get it out this year.
Posted this pic in the new parts section too. It's the start of getting the fuel system in. Hoping to have back half of the system buttoned up next weekend and getting started on mounting the pump.

Any updates on this heap?
Nothing photo worthy, I have been working on dyeing interior plastics when time allows. Might throw up a couple before and afters of the dash or something but it's not what I'd call noteworthy. LOL Now that the holidays are out of the way, and work should be slowing some, I hope real progress will begin again here shortly. Still have a few big projects here at the house to get done but I'll work it out.
Started with a porno red dash here, now it's the correct titanium. Pictures honestly don't do any justice to the before and afters. Actually came out better than I expected. Been putting in a lot of prep work to get this stuff to dye right. The glove door is done but have no pics right now, I'm still working on the vents and they are a major PITA. I'll post more when completely done.
This is the dash and pad separate that I started with:

Lookng good man, I know how projects go, usually there's a shortage of time and money, just be patient and do it right regardless how long it takes..
How do you dye the plastic? It looks great
Looks good
Looking good Greg.
Thanks all for the positive comments. :bigthumb Can really help in the "down" times with a project like this. Hopefully I can get some post worthy progress done in the next few months.
I'm using dyes from Latemodel Restoration. They are made by SEM and are very good. It's not a hard process but is a little time consuming. The key is in the prep work. I start by cleaning the parts with dish soap, then I use trisodium phosphate (TSP) to get all the grease and other residues that may be on the panel, off. I then apply an adhesion promoter/primer, depends what your working on (hard plastic or vinyl). After that dries, I then dye it my color of choice. That's about it.
Great job!
Bump for a dope ride.
Looks slowww!!! Lol
Is it running yet?
