It all depends on what you are looking to do. Best bet is to call Fox Lake up or someone who specializes in cylinder heads and tell him your plans and he will recommend one for you.
Buy a highport, in whatever CC runner you need, for the power you want to make.
I'm building a blow through supercharged set up but going to use the engine until I can get the money for the supercharger
Whats wrong with your old engine? Seems like that would've been a good motor to get some passes under your belt and the rest of the car sorted out.
Me and e85 never got along. Melted two pistons. Heads needs a little work to get them back up to par. A lot of bad luck came my way so decided to get rid of everything and start with a fresh setup.
I ran the car but some reason it kept popping around 5k and we thought maybe it was ignition issue so I thought it was figured out so the last time I took it out it did it again and that's when it fried two pistons. Block might be shot as well. It was running really lean on the top end. Don't know if the new pump went or had a line collapse. It sucks but I will get over it and move on.
Did not know that. That sucks but like you said, move on and start fresh. Hope you have better luck next time and you are able to salvage some of your old parts.
Looking at either the Trickflow R head or HighPorts.
+1 for the highports!
Yup, that's what I was telling him yesterday.
Ed Curtis has a nice cnc package with upgraded valvetrain.
All this talking about head just reminds me that I sure need some too. Sucks that it cost so much.
Well I wasn't thinking dirty but I guess im probably in the need of both.LMAO
No prob. I've looked at these a couple of times now.

He doesn't have them listed but if you check out fox lakes listing, they're going to be similar in flow numbers.
