Just pinion angle or setting up gears?
Justing the pinion angle and making sure the rearend is straight. I put a set of upper and lower control arms that have solid bushings that might be a little off when I put them in.
Call Finishline Performance in Milford, Cincy Speed in St Bernard, Dayton Performance in Dayton and find out. just depends on the complexity of your setup. You didn't seem to have any issues going straight on that first pass...or at least it didn't look like it.
It wa s swaying real bad. It felt like I was in a wind storm. I lifted before the 1/8th mile. It needs a front end alignment done too. The wheels are bowed in. I just want to make sure everything is perfect before I take it back to the track.
What was you tire pressure in the slicks?
It's pretty easy to do the initial setup. The lowers should be set so the rear tires are centered in the wheel wells. Check both sides and make sure they are exactly even. As far as setting the pinion angle here is a guide. You can get a angle finder at lowes, Home Depot, etc.
