    informative fox body sites

what are some informative fox body sites out there? Like for differences in the years, motor read ups, brake read ups, suspenion read ups or anything else fox body related. I need to start getting a feel for the older cars just incase I come across one myself. thanks.

    Not websites, but:
    Mustang Performance Handbook
    Mustang Performance Handbook 2

    Both by William Mathis

Good reference for a lot of things Fox Body. Both books are dated, in that they don't cover post 1995, but they do have very good information about the brakes and suspension, including a lot of DIY info. Of course, new products have come out since then, but the books are well worth reading. I'm pretty sure Craig has both books up at Cincy Speed.

For engine info, you can't beat Hardcore 50, although a lot of the info is more racing oriented.

As far as specific questions, you're going to have a hard time beating Stangbangerz as far as signal/noise ratio for answers. There's a lot of knowledge here, without the assclown population on StangNet or the Corral. Of course, searching on the Corral can provide a lot of info, you just have to consider the source. Also, Corner-Carvers has some excellent archived tech info on Fox bodies, just abide by the rules if you want to post a new question (and don't say I didn't warn you...just ask Beefcake).

Also, I found this while looking up the other books on Amazon: Mustang 5.0 Technical Reference. No personal experience, but according to the reviews it has a breakdown of what came on what years, so that could be helpful as well.

    Glad to help.

For the full glory of what can be done to a Fox body, build something like this:

I think all you really need to do is talk to Capristang. Doug seems to be a walking fact book of fox body knowledge.

The only problem is that hanging out over there can give you some very bad (and expensive) ideas.

    Nope they don't. It's not a classifieds site, it's a tech site.
