    which seats are better

Since I got some time on my hands I figured I look at some seat possibilities. Vote for the one you like the best. And if anybody has any of these please tell me what you like/dislike about them. I'm looking for some lighter weight seats that still feel good for those rides to the cruises and plan on putting a bar behind for harness hook up.

Hah... its funny that you should be looking into seats... I just bought a set of those GS-1 Sport seats similar to the ones Scott put into the Prom Queen... except that obviously mine will be black instead of tan....

I have a Kirkey Pro Road Race (the uber-bling, $700 version), but it's pretty similar to the Intermediate Road Race in design, just with more reinforcement. You're more than welcome to come by my house and sit in it to see how it feels. It's definitely comfortable enough for a daily driver. The road race seats are MUCH nicer than the drag seats.

that would be cool. mabey this weekend if your free. The intermediate road race is 18lbs which isn't bad at all. only bad part is they are pretty pricy since you have to get the seat cover as well.

I know rscoupe has Kirkey's in his real street car. If I get a chance to wedge myself in one I will let you know what I think. The procar seats look cool. I wonder what the grey and black look like in person?

Bob, why don't you look into getting something like these:

I believe these are the same ones that 93hulk is running, and they are super nice, and still relatively cheap comparted to other aftermarket seats. I didn't get to sit in them, but if they feel anything like the corbeau's, they are pretty comfortable.

ours have more padding on them than most. we got some foam big enough to cover the seat and cut it to the seat and then glued it.. 2.5 inches think and firm makes for a comfy seat... but yes this is a 1/4 mile car and not driven on the street.....

those are the same ones that Scott (Moontang) has in his. I sat in them and they seem pretty comfy. Thats what actaully sparked me into getting new seats. but the only bad thing is there isn't much of a weight savings if I went with the reclining ones. but I guess I can always add more power to make up for the weight

I have a kirkey Pro Street Drag that I think is pretty comfy. I have a set of Jazz seats and covers I am thinking of selling to be able to put a matching kirkey in the pass side. I got mine at Cincy Speed!

They are the same ones..I seen them a few weeks ago over at Plated's house...He said they weigh about the same as the factory seats...They are nice though...
