Got the car home yesterday afternoon. Need to do a few things to it and pull motor and transmission. I'll get some pictures in the sun this afternoon, but I had to put this one up. After seeing how good it looks in black, I decided to do black on the coating. I was sort of thinking sterling silver initially.



I'm going to have the exhaust housing coated in black also, that should make it look pretty good.

You'll notice the lower core support was replaced. He didn't like the way it looked because it was tweaked.

Thanks Mark, I've been researching it for awhile. The black will hold up to the heat better than the silver will, and depending on underhood temps, I may end up having to wrap it in the end anyway.
Side note, I set the upper on it today and the box intake fits under the 1.5" hood perfectly. There's no gaskets in place, so I'm going to trim the spacer a bit just for added clearance, but to have this engine under the tiny hood is funny to me!
