Wish I could get Ibstrokin to come out and work on my car....

Oh I guess I have to be in town long enough to be able to work on it. Maybe you can come by and work on it while I'm gone. Kinda like a group of Mustang Faires...

That would be great! I'll leave you guys a list of things I need done.

Car looks like it's coming along Rick. Shooting for this summer still?

You must've missed it, Scott was here too. Said he was going to help so he could get credit on building my car. I'll let you in on it too if you want? Trust me, when my grandma passes you on the rear bumper, your gonna want to be able to say you had a part in it!

Car will be ready in 08, I don't care if I have to sell the gixxer and the jetboat to get there!

Dropped the rearend out tonight. Stock control arm bolts were giving me fits, so I broke out the sawzall and sliced through the lower control arms like butter. Car is basically stripped at this point. When I take the K-member and rearend to the scrapyard I'll post up some pics. Next is to remove the factory fuel lines and fuel filler so I can clean up and weld in the torque boxes before the battle box install.

I'll come out, you don't need to be there, just leave the keys to kermit.

    hehe

Decided I was going to remove the stock bumper in favor of something tubular. Hate to get rid of the weight back there, but I'll have to be creative when putting it back in....

I'm going to be working on it all night tonight, cleaning up the frame rails and prepping for the coilover crossbar and sway bar. Might even cut out the factory tubs if time allows.

    Soon

Stock tubs are coming out tomorrow night. I'm going to wait till the new minitub kit comes in before I notch the frame though. Just need to stop and get some more cutoff wheels, the rear deck of the coupe makes it pretty tight in there, not quite as easy to get to as your hatch!

LOL.. Well, I'll come look at it, BUT, I bit the bullet. Got a hold of a vendor and saved 175.00 shipped. Still looking at 4-6 weeks for delivery, so thats bums me out. Have some cool parts coming in the next few days though! Then I'll update the thread some more. Things are going to start coming together soon.

You can park it at my house. I'll even fill the tank when it gets empty

Picked up the front bumper replacement. Its not crash rated, but helps to hold the bumper cover in place while reducing a lot of weight.

Got my heads back from Dayton Performance. Thanks Mike, I appreciate it.

Heads are TFS Highports with 2.055 / 1.625 valves. When I purchased them they were lightly ported. Mike did a valve job with new guides and set me up with some new stainless exh. valves. Intake are Ti. Retainers are also Ti.
