Thanks man, been working hard. Lots of progress in the coming weeks. Came home today to the flaming river rack kit. Went to the track for a couple of hrs and came home and threw it in. Fits like a glove!

Fits like it was designed to fit in there.

Whats up Ken? Yeah I'm glad to be making progress. I tell ya what though, long gone are the days of just bolting something on anymore. All this custom stuff is kicking me in the junk!

Didn't get to take the car for the cage install. But I did get to do a few other things that needed done anyway.

I had to make a custom transmission crossmember because a factory one wont even come close to fitting anymore. Being down and back, coupled with the deep sump transmission pan just wouldn't let it fit. I called Ray and picked up some steel from his place and put this together tonight.

The car does have pretty good looking stance up on the jackstands, but I tell ya what, a 275/50 just looks tiny with the tubs cut out.

Put the CC plate on, had to open up the slots slightly to get full movement for caster and camber.

Thanks Justin, its been a bunch of work. Just noticed that I had forgot to caption that transmission crossmember picture. I have yet to drill the plate for the mount. I had 2 new ford tranny mounts, so I drilled new holes to match up with the TH400 and put it in place. The tail shaft is pointing slightly to the passenger rear tire, so I need to raise the engine and open the motor mount pads slightly to give me a little bit of adjustment there, before I can drill the crossmember plate correctly.
If only I had a trunk monkey to hand me wrenches from time to time, I'd have been done a long time ago!

I'd like to say thanks to Greg, Kwik92GT for coming out today and giving me a hand. We ran down to Cincy Speed to pick up some new strange struts. Got home and we put them on. I spent several hours taking the motor in and out to get the alignment of the midplate and tailshaft just right, but finally got everything squared up, at the right angles and locked down tight. It feels good to have 4 tires on the car again.

No prob Tricky .... just wish we could've got more done before I had to leave. Hopefully you'll be about ready to get it back after I come home from vacation and we can get some more done. Gonna be a sweet ride when finished. Lata.

You keep my inspired Greg, so after your pep talk yesterday I'm pretty excited about it again. All this tedious shit is wearing me out.
Your right though, it should get down!

Brian came out today with his truck/trailer and we took the car out to have the cage put in and the turbo kit modified. I snapped a few pictures of the car on all four, which is damn near giving me wood. I was really excited up until the point where we pushed my car in his garage next to his. This guys car is incredible!! I have no doubt my stuff will be looking good when it rolls out of his shop! Anyway, this is what it looks like as of now.

What cage did you do, and who is doing it?

I hate all the damn fab work. It's not really that I hate it, but I don't have as much time as I used to.

Car looks like it is coming around good.

I bought a wolfe 10 point, and Jason Z out of trenton is doing it. I'm with you though, at this point, nothing really just bolts up anymore. I'm welcoming the break!

I am really happy with its stance right now.
