    Turbo Coupe 8.8

    FS: Disc Brake Turbocoupe 8.8 rear with 3.55s, sat for a while, still turns fine, not sure abotu the calipers.

    Need it out of my garage

    Jim, it will bolt in, but will be wider by about 3/4 to an inch on each side, you would have to run a different offset rim, or buy the brake relocation brackets from www.northracecars.com, (thanks to 50calypso93lx for that one) in order to bring it back to fox length.

    And Speed Kills, that '55 is beautiful!

    Like stangman said, it will work, but it does push each wheel out +/- .75. IIRC it's almost the exact same width as an SN95 rear

    Like everyone else said, It'll work fine, you'll just probably be limited on wheel selection. You could run any aftermarekt ford wheel up to 8" and still be ok, like bullits, 98 cobra's, etc.

    Definately a good cheap way to go to rear discs!

    Or you can put the Mustang backing plates,brake drums and axles in it and be the same as a Mustang .The housings are the same width its the axles that are longer to make room for the rear disc components .
